Chapter 2

When Hayden gets home he parks his car in the garage and goes through the garage door into the kitchen where he is greeted by his little sister Kadence whose sitting on the counter, swinging her feet. "Hey Hayden you pop the question to Ashley yet?" She asks.

Hayden puts the ring down on the counter. "Let's just say I didn't get the chance." He says.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry," she says, "but tell me the juicy details of what happened."

"Kadence if you don't mind I'd really rather not talk about it" he said.

"Ok sorry I brought it up then" she said.

"Isn't Sarah supposed to come over today?" He asks

"Yeah, she should be here any time now" said Kadence. Directly after she said that the door bell rings. "that'll be her then" said Kadence as she walks to open the door. Kadence opens the door reveling a girl about the age of 20, long dark hair, and extremely beautiful. "Hey girl!!!" She says to Kadence.

"Hey Sarah, c'mon in!" Says Kadence.

Sarah enters the house. She sees Hayden, "did you ask her?!" She asked.

"No, she dumped him." Said Kadence.

Hayden, now extremely angry, yells at Kadence "shut up Kadence!"

"Hey you wouldn't tell me the details what was I supposed to say?" She replied.

"You could of let me tell her and kept you mouth shut?!" He said.

Sarah steps in, "ok ok calm down you two jeez," she says, "Hayden, your a great guy, it's her loss and you'll soon meet someone new! Tell you what my friend Trevor is throwing a party in a few months and I think you should come."

"Why do you want me to come?" he asked

"Because the best thing to do is get right back on the horse and try again and you don't have a choice." She smiles.

"Fine I'll think about it." He said.

"Good" she says.

"I'm going to go take a shower then I'm going to sleep, so you girls keep it down. Kay?" Says Hayden as he walks to his room.

"Kay!" Sarah and Kadence reply.
