Blackwood City, Vagrants Valley

I've always had this thing about the law, since me and my family have lived in Vagrants Valley for a while now, we have never had the best treatment from the local police. We are all disrespected, abused, forgotten and abandoned. But there is one sport that us vagrants have never lost faith in, it's the thing that we all pour our love, hearts and money into. The night is our king and our cars are our steeds. My name is Sophia Evacruz. Let me tell you my story.

When I was 15 years old, I had to drop out of high school since my family had no way to pay for my education. We were barely just able to afford the house tax. One night when me and my father were walking home from bank. We saw what you would call, a huge commotion. A giant crowd were cheering on two cars about to race, A silver 06' Dodge Magnum R/T and a rusty early 2000's Ford Mustang.

They both had big, thick back tires which were raising the back ride height of the cars. The engines were so loud, it was making fire burst out the exhausts which sit at the side of the cars instead of the back.
Me and my father stood back, ready to watch the cars fly past us at such an incredible speed. A woman with two flags in her hands stood out inbetween the cars and proudly yelled:

"TRES!"

"DOS!"

"UNO!"

"VAMOS!!"

With that! The Mustang flew back on its rear wheels, preforming a short wheelie before the Magnum unexpectedly blasted right ahead of the 'Stang. In mere seconds, the Magnum was atleast one and a half car lengths in front of the Mustang.
I'm sure you could guess who the clear winner was. But that night, I saw something in my father's eyes, he seemed motivated.
We even jogged home even though there was another 2 miles before we reached home.

A month later, my father came home at 1:30PM, he hadn't been seen the entire the day and then he just shows up with a car, a destroyed 1972 Nissan S30Z (Fairlady), it was beat to hell, the rust had spread from the engine bay to the outer fenders, the doors were missing and the back fenders where smashed in. It was even missing it's wheels.

My mother ran out to my father and slapped him. They were both arguing about the money, what was the point in buying a such a beaten up piece of shit, etc. My father then said something which made my mother's face turn white, apparently, father had made a deal with the Speed Uprisers, an illegal street racing crew who own the Downtown sector of Blackwood City, that he would pay them sixty-thousand dollars by the end of year for parts so he could repair and tune the car for the drag races that happen all over Vagrants Valley.

The whole family was distraught. Even if he managed to fix that car and  tune it properly for the races, it would take a long time for him to own the money back, it takes wealthy drag racers months to finish there cars. But my father had a plan for that, the crew that runs Vagrants Valley (the Draghounds) allowed him tools, assistance And even a garage to build the car up in.

Seven months passed. I was now 16 years old and the car was close to being complete. The new and improved Fairlady Z had new doors, new fibreglass fenders built for drag racing. Absolutely no rust whatsoever, instead there was a streaking coat of metallic blue covering the car with a few stickers and logos on the windshield. Under the hood, was a brand new V8 Engine, freshly restored with custom parts from Edelbrock installed. Including a BDS supercharger with a 650hp 8 SS Bug Catcher Kit installed aswell. The back tires were changed for the thicker drag tires and the front wheels were replaced with Drag Steelies.
A Nitrous Oxide system, roll cage and wheelie bar were also installed. If anything, I think we all believed that this car was the fastest runner in all of  sector of Vagrants Valley. All that was left was to Dyno test it and then it was off to the streets for its first race.

You've reached the end of published parts.
