Asano Joins 3-E?!

Nagisa didn't want to be home since his mother was there. He called up Karma who he thought would hangout with him. Though, Karma was out to who knows where doing who knows what. Nagisa sweat dropped at the thought of what he could do. That is when he stared at his phone, not knowing who to call.

I could call someone from class to hangout, but they are probably busy as well. He thought to himself as he walked through the park. That's when a certain someone's name popped up onto his phone screen.

Asano was calling him.

But for what reason? Why would he call Nagisa out of nowhere? Nagisa stared at his phone for a while before he slowly pressed the accept button. He put the phone to his ear and asked with a hesitant tone

"Hello? Asano?"

There was a silence on the other end, except for the little noises in the background. It seems like Asano was outside somewhere.

After awhile there was a reply "um hi Nagisa. I'm sorry for the sudden call, but I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with me?" He asked which surprised Nagisa.

"Why me?" He asked as he slowly swung on a swing in the park.

"Because you're the only one, except Karma who said he was busy at the moment so it will only be me and you, in the class that I previously knew and I um.. I just want to make up for what I did to you that day. I also.... want to talk about it." he said which caused Nagisa to become quiet. Though, Asano waited patiently as he knew this would have been his reaction.

After awhile Nagisa finally broke the silence, "Alright... I'll come. But I also have some questions that I want to ask you. Where do you want to meet up?"

"Just stay where you are. I think this is a great place to talk" Asano said which made Nagisa immediately look up to see Asano standing at the entrance. How had he not notice him before?

"Asano?! How did you know I was here???" Nagisa asked in disbelief as he hung up the phone.

"It wasn't intentional. I was just walking while on the phone with you until I saw you on the swing." Asano said truthfully as he put his phone into his pocket and walked over to Nagisa. He sat on the swing and looked at a certain place.

"Beside I was going to say to meet up here anyway. Since, this is where it started" he said with a serious but guilty tone.

Nagisa POV

He's right. This is where it started. The place he's looking at... that's the exact spot where Asano pushed me. The exact place which ended our friendship back then. I looked at Asano and nodded

"Yeah, it is... so, would you like to explain why everything happened?" I asked wanting to know the reasons behind his actions. I had a sort of understanding because of his dad but I wanted to hear everything from him.

Asano sighed and scratched the back of his head before he spoke

"Well... when I heard you were in the End class I was beyond shocked. I knew you guys were smart, but I didn't know what happened. I thought maybe my way of learning was stressing you guys out. I intended to stay friends with you before I was approached by my father. He told me that if he saw me hanging out with the two of you like we are still friends, I would also be transferred into the End class. I couldn't do that as I wanted to beat my father to show him the way he's teaching isn't right. So... I couldn't just tell you guys that we can't be friends anymore. We were friends since forever and I knew you two wouldn't give up on us like that. That's when I decided that I had to make you guys hate me. That way I wouldn't have to worry about hurting your feeling anymore than I was going to that one time. I remember having my back turned to you guys as I walked away. I wanted to just forget everything and run back to you. To apologize and explain everything. But... but I couldn't. And it hurt me to do that to you. And... I'm really, truly sorry. I hope you believe every word that I have said because it is the truth"
