(P.S. you guys should check out 'Both of us' by Taylor Swift and BOB. It is so nice!! This has nothing to do with the story, but I feel I just had to write it down.)

Sector 7
A man arrived in front of the Gate.
"Please! Let me in! My wife... she..." The man trailed off, with an anxious look on his face.
The Prime appeared on the screen and said to his assistant," Is there room in any of the sectors?" The assistant replied with a simple shake of his head. " Very well. Finish them."
The man's eyes grew as wide as saucepans, screaming "No!" before a loud thud could be heard. The car and the man was blasted to bits.
The Prime smiled to himself. What a wonderful day indeed.
Chapter 1
Lucian's POV
" Sector 2 and 3, please report to work at one-zero-three-zero at the Garden." A loud mechanic voice rang through the entire city.
'Phew!' I thought to myself. Today was kinda like an 'off' day. I had the whole day to myself because it was my birthday.
My name is Lucian, but many people call me Luke. I am 17 and live in the city, called ' Peace-Land' . It was pretty ironic, considered that the Prime killed whoever who tries to come to the city and live but there is no available slots for them to.
Peace-Land is seperated into 10 sectors. My family and I live in sector 7. The Prime controls everything. Every 15 years, the Prime would change. Right now, it is Prime Albahny.
I came to Peace-Land around 3 years ago, when my parents were very desperate and my little sister, Sophina-Ann, was very sick. My family was lucky. Very lucky. My family had no food, shelter or water after the War, so my parents decided we would go to Peace-Land. We knew we were probably going to die, but when we arrived, the Prime let us in because a) there was an available unit
b) My parents were doctors before the War ( They had no other skill)
My family was placed in Sector 7, Unit 303. Sector 7 was in charge of
medicine, so my parents were placed there.
Peace-Land was quite small. It was okay for my family and I even made a few friends in Sector 7.
In Peace-Land, the day when you turn 13 is the day you have to start work. I work at the Hospital as a assistant-pharmacist. It has been around 3 years but I haven't got promoted. Yet. Sophina, on the other hand, is a qualified nurse and she is three years younger than me. SoAnn ( as we call her), has a gift for medicine. At the age of 12, she could recite the names of 60 types of medicine just by feeling the pill itself and then stating its purpose.
My best friend, Flynn's younger sister is SoAnn's BFF. Even though my sister looks girly, she is absolutely a tomboy. Okay, so she still has long golden hair, but she detests dresses, skirts or pink. Especially pink.
In Peace-Land, there was a few rules. Like how you cannot marry someone from a different sector. Or like how you are not allowed to kiss a boy/girl until you become 20. Which is retarded.
Life in Peace-Land was peaceful, until Evelyn May came.
Evelyn's POV
As my dad pull over infront of the Gate, I gasped.I heard many rumors about it in my old hometown after the War, but never expected it to be so...so... big!
Many of my friends and their familes ventured out to Peace-Land, but they never came back. My parents told me that the reason was that the Prime, the person who was in charge of everything , killed whoever who tries to come in when there is no vacancy. Rarely, when for example, some family dies of whatever cause, the Prime would consider to let you in.Consider. He would first question what job you worked before the War. Then, if he decides you are someone useful, like perhaps a doctor or architect, who has a valuable skill, he would let you in. Of course, there were some rules, but as the rumors say, it was paradise. In Peace-Land, you are given a place to live, three meals everyday and there was everything a paradise could have. You started work at 13 as whatever your parents were skillful at. If your parents were farmers, you would work at the Garden.
My parents promised me and Jade, my elder sister, that they would never take the risk. But when an epidemic swept through our hometown and infected Jade, we had no choice.
And here I was staring at the Gate, fingers crossed that we wouldn't die. I was stroking Jade's hair, while she slept. My father got out of the car and stood in front of it. A face appeared on a screen. The Prime had a raven black long hair that reached to his shoulders. But it was his eyes that caught my attention. One was amber while the other was black.
My father bowed his head respectfully and said in his business man-like voice ," Sir, if you could, please let my family in. My eldest daughter is very sick." The Prime looked at him and laughed, than said to who I presume was his assistant," I like this man. Not like the other men who come here pleading. Is there room?" The assistant thought for a while, then nodded his head. The Prime smiled and said," Ahh, good. Didn't want to see him get blasted to bits." I gulped as i listened to his words. He continued with," Please tell me, what were you before the War?"
My father bowed once again and replied," I was a doctor and my wife was an architect, sir. My wife and second daughter,Evelyn-May, can also cook very well.My eldest daughter, Jade, has a very green thumb"
" Impressive family you've got there, Mr..." The Prime trailed off. " Morganstern. Derek Morganstern." The Prime nodded his head. " Very well, Mr Morganstern. You are granted access into Peace-Land and be place in Sector... hmm... actually, I think you should be placed in Sector 1. It is very, very rare that I let people live in Sector 1, but considering how impressive your family is, I allow. Come to think of it, it has been around 20 years since anyone inside Sector 1. You will be briefed when you go into Peace-Land. Wishing you a happy stay." The Prime chuckled.
I decided that the Prime did have a sense of humor. As the Gate opened, I looked out of the window. The scene absolutely took my breath away. A Guard walked to a car and motioned us inside. Dad carried Jade bride-style and walked towards the car. Mom and I packed a few things from the car and pushed our luggages toward the car that the Guard was beside.
I thought nothing and nobody was better than being in Sector 1 or coming into Peace- Land. That was until I met him.
