Today was the day of the surgery and I couldn't seem to let go of Tae.

"Are you sure you're gonna be ok?" I asked while holding his face and he nodded. "I'm not gonna leave the hallway for the entire time but Yoongi has to sort out his criminal problem so he's gonna be in and out." Tae smiled at me and pulled me down to kiss my nose.

Tae looked at yoongi who was behind me sitting in a chair. "Can I kiss your boyfriend?" He asked and Yoongi must've nodded because tae placed his lips on mine.

There was no movement it just seemed like any other kiss we shared on our foreheads, but it meant something way more special and I started to cry.

"I just wanted to have my first kiss with my soulmate before I die." Tae said once he pulled away and I gave him a warning look. "But I also wanted a kiss from my good luck charm before amazing doctors save my life."

I kissed tae one more time before standing up and watching doctor walk into the room. Tae pulled me down again and started to cry with me.

"Pass them on okay. Especially the last one." Tae kissed my forehead four times before kissing my lips and it was an actual kiss too. "Give it to Yoongi for me. The others go to our moms."

Tae was pulled away and we followed behind him. I walked in front of everyone, giving them kisses on their foreheads before stopping in front of the door tae was getting his surgery at and kissing Yoongi.

"You guys really are soulmates." Yoongi mumbled and I nodded before sobbing into his neck. "He's gonna live and he's gonna give you way more kisses. And I'll let him because I know for a fact your friendship is stronger than our relationship."

Me and Yoongi cuddled in the hallway next to the door and I saw Yoongi shed a few tears too.

"Don't cry." I laughed lightly while moving into Yoongi's lap and wiping his eyes. He held onto my face and kissed my nose before wiping my own tears away.

"Only if you stop crying." Yoongi held onto me tightly and he whispered sweet nothings into my ear. "How long is his surgery?"

"The doctors say around five hours if it goes well." I leaned my head on Yoongi's shoulder and he rubbed my leg.

"I have to leave in twenty minutes." Yoongi whispered and I sniffles while looking up at him.

"Buy me food on the way back." I said picked me up as he stood. He laid me down in the couch and took off his jacket to put it over me.

"Just rest now so when tae wakes up you can give him all of your attention." Yoongi told me and I nodded.

"I love you." I mumbled before closing my eyes and almost instantly falling asleep.

Time skip

The first thing I heard as I woke up was yelling and rushed words and my instant reaction was to close my eyes tightly and plug my ears so I did just that.

Once the commotion was gone I sat up and looked around. I was confused as to what was happening around me but when I saw the surgery doors open and Tae's moms running down the hallway in the same direction as the commotion the first thing that came to mind was my worst fear.

"Tae." I whispered to myself before getting up, grabbing Yoongi's jacket, and sprinting after the noise. I caught up with them quickly and when I saw my soulmate on the bed with tubes and wires around him I couldn't help but burst out crying.

Noise crowded around me but I blocked it out to keep up with the one person I cared about more than my own life. Soon the noise of the panic and the headache caused by my crying was too much for me to handle and I fell to the ground with tears falling from my eyes and the last thing I saw was tae getting pushed into an emergency room.

Another time skip

This time when I woke up all I heard was my own heart beat.

A beeping was heard with every beat and I knew I was hooked up to a monitor. I listen for a little while and heard no other movement or presence of another person so I opened me eyes and slowly sat up.

Looking around I knew I wasn't actually alone in the room since there was a curtain blocking me from someone next to me and I checked to see is anything was actually hooked up to me before standing up and bringing the monitor with me to the curtain.

I walked past it instead of opening it and when I saw who was in the bed I almost fainted again.

"TAE!!" I yelled and ran up to his side. He seemed to know I was next to him but he didn't open his eyes. "Tae don't ever scare me like that again." I leaned down and leaned my forehead against his.

"Something went wrong in the surgery." Tae said only that and I felt pained by the helplessness in his voice. "I'm different now because of what happened." Tae said and I hugged him.

"I don't care if you turned into a girl tae. You're my soulmate and nothing can change that." I said and tae grabbed my face before getting his face close to mine.

I confused about the silence that was after but what he did next surprised me. He opened his eyes, which were once a beautiful deep brown, and there was bright blue eyes that would make anyone notice him in a crowd.

"Tae they're so beautiful." I said in a cracked voice and he displayed a sad smile in his face before kissing me and I started crying.

"I died for a few minutes and all the power that it took and the new blood flows caused my eyes to change." Tae mumbled as he sat up slowly with my help and moved to the side of the bed.

"I wish I was awake to see you wake up." I said as I sat down next to him and he leaned his head on my shoulder.

"Yoongi was here and I knew he was following the bed since I was awake for almost a minute before I got into the emergency room. When I saw you next to my bed than you disappeared with Yoongi soon following after I thought I was living a bad dream.

"I thought about the possibility that Yoongi would be enough for you if I died I almost gave up, but than I remembered the last couple days and I knew you wouldn't just leave me like nothing so I fought to stay alive for you."

I was in so much tears when he finished and we leaned against each other while crying for a while before a doctor came in followed by Yoongi.

"My boys are awake." Yoongi smiled and walked over to lay on our legs and I pulled him up to give him a kiss before leaning back on tae.

"I knew he wouldn't leave." Tae said and I kissed his head. Yoongi seemed to know what we were talking about so he sat up and kissed our foreheads.

"I wouldn't leave my boys for the world." He hugged us tightly and we all started sobbing from happiness.

"I love you both so much." I cried and held onto their waists. "So much."
