It has been one week since Jungkook's confession. He hasn't received a proper reply from her. Instead of getting stressed he tried to distract himself with his office work, which somehow went successful. He has been assigned the duty of supervising a grand conference meeting which is scheduled that day. He was busy working day and night so that this meeting won't be a mess.
Many foreign deligates are to attend this meeting and it's a big step for JEON group of companies as well, so he sacrifised a lot of his time in preparing for this meeting.
He would sometimes look at his phone to check whether there are any replies from Shan. But there was no luck until now. Work kept him busy till about 4 in the evening when suddenly he heard a beep from his phone. He took the phone out from his coat pocket and checked the sender's name, it read Kim Shan in bold letters with a heart wallpaper , edited by his own hands , glowing in the background.

He didn't know what to do. He felt so nervous to open the message.
At this moment someone entered the meeting room where Jungkook was in. That person reached for Jungkook who was standing there staring at his phone with a tight grip on it as if his life was flashing before his eyes.

" Jungkook...Jungkook.... "
He didn't even notice the person's presence. That person started to shake him slightly by his shoulder. That is when he came back to reality.
Jungkook looked up and saw his father looking at him with a questioning and more of a concerned look on his face.
" Yes dad ? "
" What happened Jungkook ? Why are you standing here and spacing out instead of doing your job ? And what is there in that phone that made you this nervous ? "
" Dad I want to talk to you about something... do you have some time ? "
" Ofcourse man come let's go to my private office room. Let's continue this conversation there. "
The father and son went to that private office room and took their seats.
" Now tell me son, what is bothering you. "
" Dad, that day on the lunch meet with Shan's family.... " Jungkook narrated the happenings one by one till last week's confession. His dad listened to him with a straight face.
" So dad she has replied to my confession, but i'm so nervous to look at it. What if she has rejected me ? What if she hates me big time ? "
" Son there's nothing to worry about. Can I say one thing to you ? "
" Ofcourse dad I really want your guidance now. "
" Jungkook , I have seen you for the past 25 years.Never have I seen you this bothered or disturbed about someone else's feelings. That is the change I wanted to see in you. This girl Shan is truly a miracle worker, she has got you to think about her feelings. You always form a wall around yourself son, only those who you trust can come into that closed wall of yours others will get repelled away. But she has broke that wall and entered into it so effortlessly. You have started this game by yourself, you are the one who should face the consequences. "
" Okay dad here it goes. " Jungkook started to open the message while his father interrupted him
" Before you open this, keep this in mind man , if you want to wear the crown you have to bear the crown. If she accepts your proposal then you have to take a big responsibility. "
" Ofcourse dad I will take any responsibilities from this point on. " saying this he opened the message.
It read " Jungkook sshi I think I am ready to take this relation from the start. Let us give this a try. "
