Evie's POV

Today me and Jordi planned a double date with Laura and Ryan. Just because that was what we always did, even when Laura dated Ollie. After the date we were gonna go on a little walk and discuss the times we had all been through together as one big group.

The next morning after mine and Jordi's little sleepover (nothing happened)

I decided to text Laura and ask her and Ryan if they wanted to hang out with me and Jordi. We had already told the others and they said that was fine, they understood that we all wanted to hang out like me and Laura always used to with just our boyfriends.

Text to Laura:

'Hey Laura,

Me and Jordi were wondering if you and Ryan wanted to sort of go on a double date kinda thing? just the four of us for today?

Love Evie xox'

Later she replied and said yes that her and Ryan would love that!

Picking out an outfit was a hard decision for me, Jordi offered to take me home but I refused, I wanted to walk home, it wasn't that long a walk and plus it was 10:00am in the morning so what was really gonna happen? well unless someone dodgy was dumb enough to try and catch teenage girls in the morning instead of night time.

But ya know.

Jordi kept texting me the whole time I was walking home which was really sweet because he just wanted to make sure I was safe, but he was acting a little over protective. I had to text him in the end and tell him I was fine and he didn't need to worry.

He still continued to text me though until I finally rung him.

'Look Jordi I love you and I know you're just looking out for me but I'm literally 3 minutes away from my house now, if you're that worried then you can pick me up later but I just need to get ready for the date.. and yes I'm safe...I'm at home' I sighed.

'I'm sorry baby I just don't trust people round here, especially the teenage boys and old men' he laughed.

'I know but I'm fine okay' I said.

'Love you, have fun getting ready' he said through the phone.

'I love you too and thanks' I smiled to myself.

I unlocked the front door with the spare key from my jacket and looked back one last time to make sure no one was following me.

I ran straight upstairs to my room and scanned my wardrobe for something cute to wear. I wanted to look cute but not slutty like half the girls at my school at the moment. I found a black crop top but since I had bought that and worn it once, everyone had started to buy it but in different colours, and they were just wearing it to get the boys attention anyway. So that was a big no no. Then I found my black leggings, my denim jacket and an arctic monkeys band tee, and my white doc martens. Perfect. Then I tied my hair into a messy kinda bun and carefully did my make up.

Usually the only make up I would wear on a daily basis was eyeliner as concealer, possibly foundation. Mbira today I decided to wear lipstick too.

Jordi's POV

It was easy for me to decide what to wear. Lately I had been getting really into wearing bandanas, so I wore my blue one with my white hoodie and skinny black jeans with my black converse.

I waited five minutes before I texted Evie because you know what girls are like, they usually take longer to get ready.
