Maplefall had been heading towards the MoonFall, a cave which had a waterfall flowing into it from a hole in the roof, and it was quarter moon, time for the Medicine Cats to meet and share tongues with StarClan, and like usual, she felt excited, hoping to see her mother, who had been killed by a rogue who took over TreeClan, then sought allies in VineClan. Then her fur started to bristle as a sound startled her and sent fear through her mind, and, anxiety through her entire body. Thunder.

She stiffened for a second as she heard the harsh sound of thunder sounding in the distance. Her memories flew back to her dream a few days ago, but she shook her head, she had still been thinking it was a StarClan cat that sent her the dream, but it didn't feel like her usual StarClan dreams. She continued walking towards the MoonFall, but had left the cover of the trees, walking on the open moors of BreezeClan territory, which were becoming soaked as rain started falling from the sky.

Maplefall broke into a sprint, her tabby fur bristling as she hared towards the MoonFall now. When she arrived, there were none of the other Medicine Cats outside, so she ran in to the cave to see if the others were waiting here, and they were, sitting down and chatting as she walked in. Clovernose looked up, "Glad to see you." She said, "Your soaked." the she-cat commented.

Maplefall nodded awkwardly, laying down to groom herself before they started the meeting, Acornpaw gave her a sympathetic look. Maplefall looked up, twitching and ear to let the younger she-cat knew she had seen the look in her eyes. Acornpaw shifted her paws awkwardly, "It's just, I feel bad for you, that rogue took a lot from you." She told the Medicine Cat. Maplefall nodded, "Darkstar took a lot from me, not Hawk." she said, though Hawk, the rogue that killed her mom and pushed Darkstar to join him, did take quite a bit from her as well.

"Well, at least she's gone now, and Duskstar is the leader." Whitedawn chimed in optimistically. Maplefall nodded to the tom, noticing his black and white fur was bristling, and fear was showing in his orange and blue eyes, "Something troubling you, Whitedawn?" Maplefall asked, the tom nodded a bit, "Rosepaw has greencough, and we're running low on catmint, and this weather could destroy the catmint that i usually collect." he said, "We don't have too much tansy, and Rosepaw insists we use it for the other sick cats." he said, a bit of pride in his gaze at how selfless his apprentice was, "Its a good deed, but it hurts her." He said.

Maplefall nodded, "VineClan's herb supplies are quite high, I could share some catmint with you." She offered, "I doubt Duskstar would allow it, he seems untrusting of everyone in VineClan, even me." she said. Whitedawn looked at her, "You know why." He stated, and Maplefall saw a bit of anger in his eyes again, "Darkstar and Hawk threatened my father if I didn't agree to be their Medicine Cat in the battle!" she hissed back. Clovernose stepped between them, "Calm down you two, we're Medicine Cats, not hot-headed warriors." She elaborated. Maplefall nodded shamefully.

"Sorry." Whitedawn said. Maplefall nodded back, "Sorry as well." She replied. Acornpaw nodded her head towards the back of the cave, "Should we go?" She asked as the moon was rising above the cave, shining light onto the water inside. Clovernose nodded, flicking her tail for Whitedawn and Maplefall to follow. They all padded into the cave together, the sound of water rushing down into the pool of water reaching their ears. They all entered the main chamber of the cave, picking placed to lay next to each other near the pool of water.

Maplefall lapped at the water after laying down, and the others did so as well. Maplefall opened her eyes to see blackness infront of her, up and down, no sky, no ground, no cave. She saw a pool of water on the ground, and beside it, sat a she-cat Maplefall recognized with a pang. A light-gray she-cat with fluffy fur and blue eyes. "Skypool?" She called in question for her attention, she looked over with a smile on her face, "Hello, Maplefall." She greeted her daughter, Maplefall can detect sadness in her eyes.

"Is something wrong?" she asked. Skypool sighed, "No." she shook her head. Maplefall wasn't convinced, but if StarClan wasn't going to share something with her, she had no ground for negotiating. "Anything you need to tell me?" she asked Skypool. Skypool shook her head again, "I just wanted to see you." She said, an edge to her tone. "Is something going to happen to me?" Maplefall asked. Skypool didn't say or do anything, "Just be safe." She said, resting her tail on her daughter's back, "I love you." she added as the dream was fading, as well as Skypool.

Maplefall shook her head, "I love you too!" She called desperately, but the vision was gone. She still had no idea what to think of that. She woke back up in the cave, relieved to not be surrounded by darkness. The sounds of the water fall came back to her, and she looked over to see the rest of the Medicine Cats already awake. Whitedawn approached her, "Is something wrong?" He asked her, seeing the expression on her face. Acornpaw was talking to Clovernose, "Do you think the Dark Forest cats would appear to her?" She asked. Maplefall overheard the young she-cat's question, "No, it was my mom." she said.

Clovernose looked confused now, "Skypool?" she asked. Maplefall nodded, "Why do you look scared?" she asked. Maplefall shook her head, "She didn't tell me much but she said she just wanted to see me." she said, "I think I'm in danger of something." she said, already knowing what it was, the storm.

Clovernose nodded, "That's understandable." She said. Whitedawn nodded, "Yeah." he said, "I promised Ravenclaw I'll be back as fast as I can, so I can help her new mate, Ravenwing, he has greencough." he said, heading for the exit in a rush. Maplefall nodded,a bit surprised her father had already settled with a new mate, "I'll see you at the gathering!" she said, the gathering was in a quarter moon now. Clovernose sat thoughtfully, "Well he's leaving, we should be going soon too, I think Robinstar has been hiding something from us, she might have greencough." Maplefall nodded, a bit disappointed that she was alone now as they all left, but Clovernose called over her shoulder, "We'll see you at the next gathering as well." She said.

And with that, Maplefall was alone now. She sighed, heading out towards VineClan camp, she'd give Whitedawn the herbs tomorrow, get them ready tonight. She was in the VineClan forest now after leaving the cave, the leaves on the trees were dripping down onto her pelt and wind pushed some small branches off of the trees and thunder sounded in the distance, lightning striking nearby, and Maplefall realized the sounds were getting closer. She started to sprint towards camp now, gasping as thunder sounded and lightning struck a branch, knocking it off of the tree.

Maplefall looked up, fear sparked in her eyes and she was knocked to the ground unconscious as the branch hit her on the head. She woke up momentarily to hear unfamiliar voices, "Shes hurt, Ripple, please help her, you're good with herbs." said a cream colored she-cat with a white tail tip, she couldn't see her face, but everything was blurry, and then her vision faded to black.

Hours later the she-cat woke up in a den that she didn't recognize, surrounded with unfamiliar scents and her head hurt, a lot. She looked over to see the cream colored she-cat, "Hello?" She said. She looked over, "Oh you're awake." she said, turning towards her, and she could now see her eyes, a beautiful blue. "Ripple has been asking why we took yo-" the brown tabby cut off the cream furred she-cat, "Who are you?" The cream she-cat looked at her, "I'm Koi." She answered, "You?" she asked.

She looked at her incredulously, "I don't remember, M-Maple.. something...?" she said, "Do you know?" Maple asked. Koi turned away, calling out of the den, "Ripple!" a moment later a silver tom walked into the den, his eyes turning to Maple in interest, "Finally awake." he said, "Now," he paused for a second, "Who?"
