Synopsis

New Orleans' amateur jazz singer Estee Williams is facing the biggest predicament of her life: job loss, an ex-lover who fled with her money, and a vile landlord who can't be more thrilled to kick her out. Estee has never been a big fan of fairy tales until her long lost twin sister turns up. Now that was supposed to be a reunion filled with dreams, hopes, and other miraculous things if only she could foresee the forthcoming dreadful accident. Estee is forced to take her sister's place - the young and successful Avery Brook - and fight the battle for justice. New York doesn't turn out so well, there's no Fairy Godmother to help, no ball, no castle or any glass slipper, and the prince charming she wants to fall in love with wasn't destined to be hers.

What Estee Williams didn't know; the New York's most eligible bachelor Max Denzell knows better. He knows what it takes to stay on top. In the city where dreams are made of, happiness becomes a trade off. Max could care less for his happiness but can't stand to see his triumphant career on the verge of downfall. The company is dealing with the biggest espionage in the industry history and he's ready to jump in the investigation. Every hunger eye is watching. Every claw is ready to take him down. It's definitely not a right time for romance, and not in a million years with his part-time-colleague-full-time-rival and the object of suspicion - Avery Brooke. Suddenly his life turns inside out.
