From a very young age, Aria E. van Hellscythe - the youngest daughter of the acclaimed family of exorcists - had a rare ability known as Foresight, the ability to predict occurrences a few seconds before they actually happen.
This ability, along with many other variations is present in only 1/20 people, and only half of that are aware that they possess this ability.
Nightwatchers are people who have been given these abilities by the Lord of Death himself to hunt down and exterminate Chimera. As a product of human fears and lost hopes and dreams, Chimera can be seen all over the world, wrecking havoc amongst society.
Aria's ability of Foresight made her an outcast within her family, as her ability was given to her by the Lord of Death opposed to the Gods, to whom her family worked alongside with. She ignored her father's negligence towards her for most of her life, up until her brother died during an exorcism when she was 14. After that, she ran away from home because of the grief and trained to be a Nightwatcher, with the only reminder of her brother being a dark red scarf.
