It was Friday afternoon, everyone's favorite day of the week. The group of boys that consisted of seven, were all laughing and talking with one another through the long hallway to enter a shortcut to the front lobby."Where's the auditorium again??" Jungkook shyly asked, scratching his head with a goofy smile.
"This way, Kookie." Namjoon chuckled, guiding everyone to the right direction.
Attending a large school was a tad difficult since it meant longer strolls to your classroom but it was something every student got used to.
When the boys arrived at their location, Jungkook and Taehyung opened the two large doors and entered with the rest of their group, only finding two of their friends on the stage with a piano.
"Gabby? Kennedy?" Jin asked while following everyone up the short stairs that lead to the stage.
"Hey, guys!" Gabby exclaimed, excited to see her favorite guys all in one place.
"What are you all doing here?" Kennedy looked up from her seat in front of the piano and noticed all seven men.
"What are you doing here?" Yoongi retorted, emphasizing the word 'you'.
"Oh, we stopped by to play this bad boy." Gabby patted her hand gently on the piano. "He's a destructor."
Everyone giggled at Gabby's words.
"We were cutting through here to get to the lobby since someone had to stay after class." Hoseok told, turning his and the boys necks to Yoongi who whistled and looked away, pretending he was not guilty of his bad behaviors.
"What? I'm bad boy." He shrugged, making everyone release laughs.
"That's a mood. Anyways, if you guys want, you can stay and hang with us. We're literally just smashing our baby fingers on the keys." Kennedy suggested.
"We'd love too, since you two are here." Jimin said, smiling.
For a short time, the nine of them either laughed, told a short story, did a hilarious dance move on the stage or anything that made them look like a fool. But that was the thing, each of them loved being fools in front of each other because they were close with one another.
"We should try something." Taehyung announced.
"What is it?" Gabby questioned her obvious crush.
"You guys remember that song we were talking about the other day?"
"Yes. I remember. Wasn't it called love myself?"
"It is, I thought we could sing it front of you two, since we're planning to perform it for that talent show next month. Yoongi wrote the chords for a piano part, I think."
"I did." Yoongi grabbed his notebook from his bookbag, showing the two girls. "I didn't really go all into it, it's long enough for a verse and the chorus."
Kennedy and Gabby examined the notes sketched neatly and began practicing slowly to see what they were heading for.
After a few minutes of hearing bad notes and slightly out of tune tempo, they were quite ready.
"Are you guys sure?" Hoseok looked at the girls who only nodded their heads.
"Yeah, Kennedy's wanting to play it by herself so I'm letting her."
The boys nodded and gave little coughs. Even though they knew Gabby and Kennedy for a long time, it was still uneasy to sing in front of them but they needed to hear their opinions about their song.
The boys took a deep breath and looked at each other and started, letting Jimin start off.
Gabby stared at the boys as they sung. She was amazed at how each of these boys were all equally talented. She also had a feeling in her stomach that these boys were going to become successful and big one day in their futures, she just knew they were going to lead a nation.
Kennedy was focused on the sheet music, noticing how angelic and beautiful these guys were showing their voices, even if it was just three to four of them singing. She and Gabby both knew how all of them sung and rapped and they loved it to their souls.
The boys were smiling at one another realizing their creativity with their choice of notes and music. You could say they were proud of one another and loved how they were the best of friends.
The sound of piano and their voices was a perfect melody that matched in sync. It was an unbelievably and an undescribable feeling. It would automatically touch your heart and put you in your feelings because it was that good.
When they finished with Kennedy playing the last two notes, they all looked at each other, allowing silence to take over until you heard Gabby sniffling.
"Oh my gosh... that was so..." She sobbed.
"Awe!! Don't cry!" Taehyung rushed to her and hugged her.
"I can't help it! That was so pretty! I want to hear the whole thing!" She whined.
The boys laughed along with Kennedy.
"I'm really glad we're you guys friends. I love how each of you did this. You're honestly amazing and I love that."
The boys awed and went to hug the two girls and were blessed to be friends with kind people.
"I'm going to write the whole piano part for you. That was quite a performance." Yoongi told Kennedy who blushed was more than glad to play the rest of the music.
After awhile, the nine of them grabbed their belongings and exited the building with each other to grab something to eat. The boys all learned something, realizing that the people who made them love themselves were Kennedy and Gabby and they told themselves they were more than lucky to have met them.
