Krism's POV
Stand back to back with everyone, as the soldiers advance. We begin to battle, but then everyone freezes as the sound of a gunshot rings through the air. I look up to the top of the tower, only to see Minx standing on the edge- alone.
I suddenly have a sharp pain in my head.
"Krism, Krism can you hear me?" I hear Minx say, its the telepathic loop she gave me earler.
"Yes, but what the fuck are you doing? Where's Khanage?"
"He's.. Dead."
"Then we've won, down!"
"I can't, those soldiers around you will kill you, unless I-"
"Unless you what?"
"Unless I jump, Krism-"
"No!" I yell, "Don't you fucking dare!"
I begin to tear up.
"I have to, everyone will die, If I don't jump."
"Shut up Michelle, Just shut up-"
"Krism please!" She pleads, I hear the pain in her voice, "Don't make this any harder for me."
"But." I try to object, tears streaming down my face.
"Krism, I'm so scared right now, please, don't talk me out of this, because I will, if you do, but then the world will turn to shit around us, and we will all die anyway."
It goes against every bit of me, but I dont object, Its the right thing to do, I hope.
"Thank you, she whispers, i can hear her quiet sobs. "And Krism,"
"Yes baby?"
"I love you."
"And I love you too Michelle."
"Goodbye Krism." She says opening her arms,
Sudddenly, an explosion of pain explodes from under my ribs, My vision fades for a second, then returns, only to see my Fiancee plummeting towards the ground.
