To sum it up, I lost a dumb bet and now I owe some dude I hardly know twenty grand.

There is no way to easily get that money. I'd called everybody I could think of and I was still twenty grand short.

That is, everybody but the one person I really didn't want to ask, the one person who hated me the most.

I sighed as I thought if I should actually consider doing this. I was scared but I decided that it was my only hope. After all, my life was on the line.
