**Miranda's P.O.V.**
My life is going so well. I have an amazing husband, wonderful career, and great friends. My friend Carrie and I just did a duet together called 'Somethin' Bad' and its featured on my new album 'Platinum'. The song is a big hit and Carrie and I are very proud. In fact Carrie and I are going out to celebrate. I'm really excited, she's such an amazing and fun person. I have to pick Carrie up so I decided to call her to see if she's ready.
(Phone Call Between Carrie and Miranda)
Carrie:Hey, whatcha need?
Miranda:Is it okay if I come pick you up now?
Carrie:Yeah that's fine. C'ya in a bit. Bye
Miranda:Okay bye.
(End of phone call)
I grab my jacket and my keys and walkout the door. I get into my truck and drive over to Carrie's house which isn't very far. I honk the horn when I get outside of her house and about five minutes later she walks out. She looks amazing. I reach over the center console and open the door for her and she gets in.
"Hey" Carrie hugs me
"Hey girl" I hug back
We hug for awhile before either of us pull away. I don't even know who pulled away first but when we did I felt cold.. I felt weird.
"Ready to go?" I ask
"Defiantly" She says
We're going out to dinner then probably to the movies because we've both been dying to see 'If I Stay'.
"After dinner do you wanna go see 'If I Stay'?" I ask her
"Are you kidding me? Of course I want to" She laughs.
About ten-fifteen minutes later we arrive at the restaurant and we walk to the front to be seated. A lady walks over and introduces herself then takes us to a table in the back corner where it's more private.
"You're waitress will be right over" She says walking back to the front.
"So Care, how've you been?" I ask
"I'm doing well, and you?" She asks
"Same" I say.
"Anything new?" She asks
"Nah you know me, always the same old, same old" I laugh
"Yeah you're right" she laughs back
Our waitress walks over and we order our food and beverages and about twenty minutes later she comes back with our food. We eat and talk for awhile and then we decide it's time to go so we pay and give the waitress a tip then we leave. We rode in silence to the movie theater but it wasn't awkward it was actually kinda nice.
"Two tickets to see 'If I Stay' please" I say to lady at the theater. She hands me the tickets and I give her the money. "You don't have to pay for mine" Carrie says grabbing the money out of my hand and our hands slightly brush each other.
"I'm paying" I say grabbing the money back and handing it to the lady.
"Haha you can't pay now" I say like a child sticking my tongue out.
"Fine" Carrie laughs. We walk over and get a medium popcorn with no butter and two waters.
"I'm so excited, I've been waiting forever to see this movie" Carrie says
"It just came out last week" I laugh
"So what? It's seems like forever" Carrie laughs too. We walk into theater 5 and the previews are playing.
"How long until the movie starts?" I ask and Carrie checks her phone.
"In about three minutes" She whispers.
"Okay, thanks... I left my phone in the truck" I say
"Good one Ran" she quietly laughs
"I know right" I laugh too.
-1 1/2 hours later-
"That movie was amazing" Carrie says
"It really was" I say.
"We cried like babies" She laughs walking outside of the theater.
"I know" I laugh. We get into the truck and I take Carrie home. When we arrive at Carrie's house I walk her inside because she said she has something to show me. When we walk inside she showed me her new dog and I immediately loved the little thing.
"He's so cute" I smiled
"I know" Carrie smiled
"Well I better get going. I had so much fun. We need to do this more often" I say hugging Carrie.
"I had fun too and yes we do" Carrie says letting go. When we pull apart I looked at Carrie and the next thing I know we were kissing. Whoa what's happening? Do I love her? No I can't I'm straight and married.. I pull away and run out the door.
