**Miranda's P.O.V.**
-6 Months Later-
Carrie and I are doing great. Today is our 6 month anniversary and I'm so excited. I've panned something amazing for us tonight.
"Do you remember what today is?" Carrie asks
"Nope" I joke
"Seriously?" She asks angrily
"I'm just kidding. Happy anniversary love" I say hugging her
"I can't believe we've been together for six months, it seems like just yesterday we were best friends" She says
"I know, these have been the most amazing six months of my life" I say
"What are we gonna do tonight?" She asks
"It's a surprise" I say
"Please tell me, I don't like surprises" She pleads
"Nope, you'll find out at seven" I say
"Fine" She huffs
-6:30-
"Can you at least tell me what I should wear?" She asks
"Wear something casual and no makeup" I say
"Why no makeup?" She asks
"Because your beautiful without it" I say
"Thanks, babe" She smiles
"No problem princess" I say
"How casual?" She asks
"Wear a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt" I say
"Okay" She says. She walks into the closet and about a minute later she comes out with a pair of skinny jeans and a Nashville Predators sweatshirt on. She looks amazing in everything she wears.
"Ready?" I ask
"Of course" She says. We walk outside and get into my truck. I've planned a romantic date by the lake Carrie and I used to go to when we wanted to get away from everyone.
"I think I know where we're going" Carrie says "The lake"
"Yeah, but you don't know what I've got planned" I say. After about ten minutes of driving we get to the lake. I grab Carrie's hand and walk over to the blanket that's under the big tree with lanterns hanging all around it.
"This is so beautiful" Carrie says
"I did this all for you" I smile. She sits down on the blanket and I sit next to her.
"I have no food, but I thought we could just talk and spend time together" I say
"Sounds good to me" She says. I wrap my arms around her and we lay down and look out at the lake.
"Carrie, I need to ask you something" I say nervously
"What is it?" She asks, sitting up.
