"how the fuck is it so cold?" taehyung asked as he and jeongguk got out of the car, stepping into the cold night air. he was shivering, and kept running his hands up and down his arms.
"shit tae, i don't have another jacket or i'd give it to you." jeongguk groaned, feeling bad while looking at how cold taehyung seemed.
"it's okay, we're not that far away from the theater-" taehyung started to say, but was cut off from his teeth chattering. jeongguk sighed and extended his arm out, wrapping it around taehyung and pulling him close to his side.
taehyung let out a small sound of surprise, but then eased into jeongguk's embrace, enjoying the newfound warmth.
"thank you, but won't this make it hard for us to walk?" taehyung asked timidly as he and jeongguk struggled slowly while jeongguk was holding the older.
"shhh, it doesn't matter." he took his hand and began rubbing it up and down taehyung's arm, trying to warm up the still slightly shivering boy even more.
"do you feel any warmer now?" he continued the motions, and it felt amazing to taehyung.
"yeah actually, i do."
it took them a minute to do so, but when they did reach the theater, taehyung was no longer shivering. he was smiling instead. it was cute.
they went to get snacks, jeongguk of course saying he would pay for everything.
"jeongguk, i can't just let you pay for everything!" taehyung was clutching onto his wrist as the approached the concessions stand, tugging on it lightly to show he was protesting.
"oh, but you're going to." jeongguk didn't even look over at taehyung, he just kept his eyes forward with a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.
taehyung let out a small whine at how stubborn jeongguk was being, but the younger just kept walking towards the counter with a pouting taehyung trailing behind him.
he leaned up against the counter, and grudgingly taehyung did the same.
"i want-" taehyung started to tell the other his order, but he was stopped.
"no need to tell me, i know what you want."
taehyung raised his eyebrows. "oh do you?"
jeongguk was ready to respond with something clever, when a peppy cashier came up to the register.
"what would you guys like?" the girl asked, and taehyung felt himself involuntarily cringe at her high pitched voice.
"um i'll have a sprite and some twizzlers," jeongguk faintly pointed in the direction of both of those things.
"and he'll," he gestured towards taehyung, "have a cherry cola and some cookie dough bites." the girl raised an eyebrow, confused. "you mean a cherry coke?"
jeongguk gave taehyung a small smile, and then firmly answered, "nope, i meant cherry cola."
meanwhile, taehyung's eyes were widened. how did jeongguk know his favorite flower, and his snack order? was he a stalker? did he ask yoongi or something?
when the girl smiled and turned around to grab the snacks, taehyung gripped jeongguk's arm and pulled him closer.
"how did you know that's what i wanted?" he whisper yelled, sounding concerned. "did you ask yoongi? did yoongi tell you?"
jeongguk didn't answer him, and instead just watched him freak out while laughing. taehyung stepped back and ran his hands through his hair. "of course yoongi told you, he always messes with anyone i talk to-"
