In the morning
I woke up early before everybody else did and I got us some breakfast from Waffle House because I didn't feel like cooking. After I came back home from Waffle House Nesha was getting dressed for work and Takai was sitting on the couch. "Don't you got to get ready for school" I asked him as I put the food on the kitchen counter.
Takai: I don't go to school anymore
Me: Why?
Takai: I got kicked out
Nesha had grabbed me by the arm and walked me in my bedroom and closed the door.
Nesha: Jack please don't have my brother in these streets
Me: Imma put him on some money
Nesha: At least keep him safe Please that's all I ask
Me: I promise I will
I gave Nesha my car keys and let her drive herself to work. It was Just me and Takai at the house.
Takai: Where you work at?
Me: I work at the streets
Takai: What you mean?
"Imma show you" I said as I finished my food.
