It was a normal night, you were scrolling through your timeline on twitter and texting your groupchat. When you get a message at the top of your screen. It reads, "Message from: @JacobWhitesides" you quickly click it and read what he sent you. It was a long message telling you how much he loved you. It said, "Hi babygirl, I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to me. You have a special place in my heart and I will always love you. You mean more than just a fan to me." You replied even though he probably wouldn't see it. It was cute how he took time out of his day to send you cute dms. You were so happy so you decided to tell your groupchat. They all got happy for you and you were really happy. It was around 12am and you had tweeted a few things about jacob. You see a notification on the bottom of your screen saying "Jacob Whitesides mentioned you" he tweeted you back and your mentions went crazy. You didn't fangirl because you were used to this. It was all normal to you. After all your mentions died down and nothing really was happening on twitter you decided to go to bed.

The next morning you woke up with a DM. You clicked it to see who it was from, it was from jacob. It said, "Good morning angel I hope you wake up while a smile on your face" you smiled and locked the screen of your phone. You got up and got dressed and started your day.

Later that night (when jacob was usually on twitter) you heard he was checking dms do you dmed him. All you wrote was "hi" he replied back in an instant. You were shocked but also very confused how fast he wrote back. He wrote back "hi baby" he started to have a normal conversation with you and stuff. After 30 minutes of you two dming you get a text in your group message. It said, "oh my god did you hear what jacob did?" You were confused so you replied and they explain what he did. "Jacob is so fake online, he is totally different than he is in person." They continued saying more and more shit that sounded like rumors. You didn't believe it but the things they said almost sounded convincing. You didn't believe any of it until one of the people in your groupchat sent something. It was a song. It was a "sexual" song jacob had wrote for a girl he was talking to. You listened to it half way and then stopped. You were fed up and you had enough. You went on twitter and immediately went off on him. You tweet things you didn't even think before sending and before you knew it, you got yourself into a huge mess. Your mentions were full of people asking what happened, but you knew you couldn't tell them. You said you were done with jacob and his shit. You got a DM, it was from jacob. It said "What the fuck is going on?" You replied back, "Don't even talk to me" he replied back in a second "Did I do something to upset you?" he said back. You knew that he knew what he did. He acted innocent and he was way far from that. You dmed him a little more and tried to sort things on and that didn't work. He started to get mad at you, and tears started pouring from your eyes. You tried to wipe them away but they just kept coming out. You went to the bathroom to wash your face. You deleted all your nasty tweets to jacob. You shut off your phone and went to sleep.

The next morning you wake up and check twitter and see jacob has unfollowed you. You immediately start crying because you know you screwed up. Tons of people are sending you hate and calling you names. You check your dms and see one from jacob. It was from 2am and it read "i hope you're happy." You start crying even harder realizing what a terrible mistake you made. He doesn't refollow you, and there is no point in even trying. You feel like the Jacob Whitesides hates your guts. You delete your twitter app and continue through the day without worrying about it.

You download the twitter app again at night and you come back to over 100 notifications and 20 dms. There's one DM from jacob from 3 hours ago. It says "I need to talk I you." You check and see he did refollow you, but you don't wanna talk to him. Your mentions are full of hate and disgusting comments. You finally decide to talk to jacob. He dms you back and says "What's your number?" You give him your number without any questions asked and he calls you. You guys basically talk about the shit you've heard and why you don't like him. You explain to him that you do still love him but the things you heard made you think different. At the end of the call he says, "You can't believe everything you hear y/n" and hangs up the call.

He ignores you for the next 3 weeks and you know exactly what you did. He doesn't favorite your tweets or DM you. Nothing. You hope he has forgotten about the mistakes you made. That night, he dms you. Your heart starts racing and you open the DM. It's a selfie of him and it says "I missed you baby" You get super excited and reply back. You're so happy jacob have forgiven you for your stupid mistakes.
