slip

"yay! we're done!" i said excitedly.
"yayyy!" colby said hugging me.
"okay now it's definitely official." i said.
"yup." he said still hugging me.
"we should take prince for a walk soon he's growing up really fast."
"yeah we should, we gotta get some of his shots first." colby said.
"okay." i said and called to make an appointment.
"the vet said we can come in now." i told him.
"sam wanted me to film with him today."
"i don't want to go alone..."
we paused and looked at each other.
"i don't want to argue with you tally."
"i don't want to argue either." "i can go by myself."
"are you sure?"
"yea." i walked to jamie's room and got prince from her. she was going with zane to hang out today while i got his shots. i got prince in the car and started to drive off. i think prince could tell i was kind of upset so he just sat there and looked out the window. i pet him and we pulled up to the vet. i just parked at say in my car not wanting to do anything. i called colby.

t: pick up colby
c: hey tally. something wrong?
t: i uhm i feel bad.
c: for what?
t: cause we got into a little argument and i don't want to be sad anymore.
c: i'm in the middle of- nevermind i don't want to be sad either. i can't film right, your just so important me.
t: *stays quiet*
t: i love you.
c: i love you too tall.

i got up out of my car feeling better and ran around to the other side to get prince. he hopped out into my arms and i carried him in. he got his shots without crying and we drove back home. i pulled up and looked up at the window that our apartment was at and saw the blinds close. i was kind of scared but it could have just been jamie watching me come back. i grabbed prince and walked up the stairs to the apartment. i unlocked the door and he ran inside then immediately came running back out to me.
"what's wrong bud?" i said to prince.
the lights were off. i turned on the kitchen light and walked to my room to turn on the light in there. i heard something in jamie's room like a swish so i looked out my doorway to see someone walking quickly into bathroom across from jamie's room. i put prince in my room and closed the door. i walked slowly to the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife i had and slowly crept up to the bathroom. i heard shuffling in the shower and grabbed my phone slowly to call 911 i missed the numbers on my phone and threw it to the floor while. i threw the shower curtain open and saw a man.
"GET OUT I HAVE A KNIFE!"
he just yelled and ran out the front door. i threw myself onto the wall and breathed heavily. i was thinking about what just happened and tried to collect myself. i finally got up and checked the apartment for anything else that could have been stolen or broken. nothing. i ran to go get prince out of my room. he jumped on me while i thanked him.
"prince you literally just saved me good boy!"
he licked me and i pet him. jamie walked through the door.
"hey sorry my phone died i couldn't tell you i was coming home." jamie said walking in the door. i ran to her and hugged her.
"jamie i could have just died oh my god that was so scary."
"what happened?"
"someone broke in did you leave the door unlocked?"
"uhm i might have."
"it's okay.." i said in between breaths. "prince saved me and possibly my life."

t: colby come home please.
c: tall i'm filming.
t: come please.
c: okay anything for you.
colby got home later and i told them what had happened.
"okay i'm never leaving you alone again." colby said hugging me. jamie was crying and i hugged her too.
"you guys should be thanking prince he saved me." i said looking at the cute puppy on the floor watching us. we all went over to him and gave him a group hug. it was getting a little late after a while, we decided to stay up and watch movies together. jamie went to sleep so colby and i stayed up.
"wanna watch the conjuring?"
he asked me with a straight face.
"heeeck no."
"whyyy pleeease."
"uh.....no."
"you would watch it if you loved me."
"oh my- fine we are watching it but your keeping me safe from the demons."
"okay." he laughed a little.
"wait i need to grab something's."
"what things?"
"you'll see." i said with a smile.
i ran to our room and grabbed a giant blanket, some fuzzy socks, a teddy bear, and tissues. i ran back to the couch and jumped onto it and covered myself with the blanket. colby has the movie ready to play.
"baaaaaabe."
"yeeeeees?" he answered.
"snaaaaacks."
"okaaaaaaay." he laughed at me and grabbed snacks. he sat down next to me and pressed play on the movie. i was already scared.... as we were watching something popped out with the sound in the background and i jumped and covered myself with the blanket. he laughed a little bit and hugged me. i hugged my teddy bear tight and he noticed.
"give me the bear tall."
"nooo."
"give it."
"no no no no no." "pleeeease noooo."
he took the teddy bear from my arms and threw it on the floor. he hugged me instead.
"i'm your teddy bear not that fake." he pointed to the bear on the floor. i laughed at him and covered both of us with the blanket instead of just myself. i held his hand and hugged him tight every time something popped out or scared me. after the movie we went to the room to change and do whatever.
"okay cmon off the couch."
"no i don't want toooo." i answered. he picked me up and brought me to the room and placed me on the bed then went to change. i watched him as he walked around the room, i was shaking while he walked around normally then i blurted out.
"how can you walk around normally after watching that movie?"
"it doesn't scare me like it scares you tall."
"i'm not scared....i'm terrified." i said hugging my knees.
"omg i forgot." i said.
"what?"
"the bear....it's to dangerous out there."
"oh myyy god tall."
"we need to save him!"
"tall quiet down it's like 12 o clock."
"please he's probably in trouble."
"oh my god, sometimes your impossible tallulah."
"i know." i giggled.
i crawled out of the room into the darkness and saw the bear, i ran to it grabbed it and ran back and closed the door.
"got him!"
"tally are you cheating on me with that bear."
"uhm no..." i dropped the bear.
"okay good." he picked up the bear and chucked it out the door again.
"uh." "rude."
"he's fine."
i brushed it off jokingly and got into the bed with my blanket. i sat cross cross apple sauce by my computer. i opened it and watched american horror story.
"tally your a strange person you know that?"
he got into the bed with me and sat by me.
"what why?"
"you can be scared of a scary movie and not be scared of a tv show."
"oh...i guess i am strange then."
we laughed together and he kissed my cheek. i watched the show until 2 o clock and colby woke up.
"tall go to bed it's late."
"no i don't want to. what if i get possessed and your asleep and you can't hear me
and i die. what about that."
"oh my gosh tally." "cmon."
he grabbed me as he closed my computer and laid me down next to him with his arms keeping me safe. he hugged me tightly and in his arms i went into a peaceful sleep. he whispered.
"i love you."
i smiled to myself and i felt him smile behind me.
