Here I am.
Back at my worst nightmare.

As soon as I walked through the doors, I remembered the pain, the suffering, everything. All the negatives. Not the positives. No light at the end of the tunnel. I remember everything from that place as I flip through my photo album. With the negatives, soon come positives. My friends.... that's about the only good thing there. The people were nice. Most of them.
"HONEY!!"
"COMING"
I shut the album and run down the stairs to see my father and my mother standing by the table with a smile.
"We have something to tell you!"
She says as she starts crying
"What is it?" I say feeling worried
"You're going to have a younger brother/sister!!"
I stand there. Frozen. Not knowing what to do with all of the love and happiness. Knowing I'll have a younger sibling to love and to care for. I soon have the strength to run toward them and all I can do is hug them and cry. All I can do is cry.

An hour has passed and I got a text from one of my long term friends. She helped me through the worst and was there for the best.
(Background+Flashback Starts Here)
It all started in my freshman year in high school. It's been two years and now a junior and Oak Alley High School. (made up school)
Everyone there is so nice and friendly. But that's besides the point. At my old school, Rain Valley High School, (made up school) my teachers would often fail me because of a personal opinion. If they didn't like me, they failed me. Kids would bully me and teachers wouldn't care. After a while of this, I met Ava. She is the most sweetest person I've ever met. She was always there for me and I'll never forget her. Soon after I met her, I met Liam. He was another person that was always there for me. He always asked how me day was whenever he got the chance.
(Backstory+Flashback ends here)
I quickly reply, happy to see her text me and to know she still remembers me.
(A=Ava•M=me)
A: Hey Girl!! I miss you sooo much!! How've you been?
M: Hey!! I've missed you too! I've been good. What about you?
A: Ive been good! I was wondering if we could hangout. I have something to tell you.
M: Okay. Today?
A: If that's okay with you!
M: Okay see you soon!

*Knock knock*
I rush to the door and open it to see Ava. I'm soo excited! I can't believe she's actually here! I hug her tightly and I tell her to come in. She says hello to my parents, then I ask if she would want to come upstairs to talk. She agrees and we make our way up stairs. Once we find a place to sit, she says...
"Sooo I still have this. It was a book that I brought this at the gravesite where my aunt is buried. The previous owner of it said it was mysterious and it had weird symbols of meaning. Yet, he couldn't figure them out. So I brought them to you because you like stuff like this."
I take the heavy, old book and look through it and start to notice everything she was talking about. I shut it soon after and asked her, "Do you know why it was written?" She said it was originally a book of fictional stories, according to the owner. I didn't know if it was true or not, but I plan to find out.
