"Stop trying to control everything I do!" I yelled at my parents my tone bitter. "We aren't. All we are doing is acting like parents, giving you things to do because we are busy." My Dad explained trying to keep his voice calm and level. "By giving me the stuff your too lazy to do!" I snapped and turned away from the two going to the porch door.
I opened the door and stormed out, "Get back here!" My Mom yelled. I just kept on walking until my pace quickened into a run. Into the woods I went not looking back. "They don't need me." I grumbled to myself. Then soon I had tripped over a tree root, I landed weirdly on my left knee. "This day couldn't possibly get any worse!" My grumpy attitude soon changed into a scared yet curious as I laid eyes on a man who was not breathing not even the slightest. So I then crawled over to him and checked his pulse that's when his eyelids flew open to reveal a dark blue color. "Who are you?" His deep voice rambled in his throat. "First is who are you?" I asked my tone small and shaky. For some odd reason he smiled. "Dear child you will know in all good time, but you may call me Reid Lancaster." "M-my name is August Hood." I held out my hand for him and Reid's cold hands wrapped around it. "Hello August Hood." His smile grew.
((Sorry for the short first chapter ,but that's what I'm going to be doing since I start school soon. So deal with it.))
