Just a pic of Ace being cute. ------------------------------------------ ???'s p.o.v I laid on my side in a dog cage with metal cuffs attached to the wall behind me by chains. The cuffs were on my wrists and neck. In the dog cage beside me was my twin sister. She was laying down facing me and was chained to the wall behind her by her wrists and neck. We were able to slip our hand though the cage bars and hold hands so we held hands. She's older than me by three minutes and is trying to look calm and hopeful but I can see the fear in her eyes and I can feel her shaking.
She's terrified just like me.
I lightly squeezed her hand and she did the same. We were silent so we didn't get beat up by the guards again. We just laid there in silence as we held hands. I silently prayed for someone to come save us and for someone to save Krona. Krona's in a tight spot right now. Her only contact to our family has been taken away, the man who kidnaped us is very cruel and he threatens to burn her home to the ground on top of killing us if she doesn't serve him.
The man is very abusive to Krona and she doesn't fight back since he could have us killed at any given second. Krona is a very kind person and she's being forced to kill whoever the man wants dead, which is mostly innocent civilians. Due to her kind nature, Krona hates harming others so this whole situation is really taking toll on her mental state.
She's strong both physically and mentally but she's getting close to her breaking point if she hasn't passed it already since I only now that he physically abuses her and makes her kill. She's saved countless lives before this and now someone needs to save her. And soon. Ignoring my growling stomach, I went to sleep still holding my sister's hand.
Ace's p.o.v Two days after I first saw the girl in black, I saw her again. This time she was surrounded by bandits and despite holding her own quiet well with multiple injuries, she wasn't gonna win. I decided to help her
Krona's p.o.v I was attacked by bandits who were allied with him so I couldn't heal my injuries due to their weapons being coated with the liquid version of the only thing that stops my healing ability. I was covered in blood and getting tired when Ace took out all of the bandits. That's all I saw before I passed out.
Ace's p.o.v I quickly caught the girl before she hit the ground then picked her up barrel style and carried her to my ship so my crew's doctors could tend to her injuries. As I carried her, I noticed her mask had a large crack on it as it it was shot but the bullet didn't go all the way though. One of my crew's nurses happily took the girl and treated her and I was aloud to see the girl once she was done. The girl was beautiful.
She had long black hair with bangs falling slightly over her eyes and shorter strands falling around her face. She was changed out of her bloody clothes but I only saw the top part of the white shirt she was changed into due to the blanket. Her arms were covered in bandages and there was a bandage on her hands and right cheek. She was unconscious.
I left to let her rest.
Krona's p.o.v I woke up bandaged in a bed and sat up. My whole body hurt and I had too much of that liquid in my system to heal myself so I just turned off my nerves so I couldn't feel the pain. I didn't turn off all of my nerves, just the one that registers pain. Ace entered the room with a tray of food.
"Hungry?" I just nodded and took the tray of food then ate. I didn't answer any of his questions or tell him who I am. I didn't speak at all. My injuries force me to stay here but I won't tell any of them anything and I'll return to him as soon as possible.
He'll kill them today otherwise.
I was covered in bandages and wore a sleeveless white shirt and blue shorts but my scars were visible. Some of them anyway. Like the word 'Monster' carved on multiple parts of my body. I've turned into my original form since I'm too weak to stay in my human form so my scars are visible.
Fortunately my bone hand and other bone parts were completely covered in a lot of bandages. If we met in a different way where I could be myself then Ace and I would be good friends.
