Winter

Time flies,
Where have you been.
Lilies grow white and blue again.
Seasons meet me in the same place.
Years stretch over me,
But you, I never see.
It's loneliness that crowns this summer.
This story,
This silence,
Those beginnings, of you and me.
It's this love I live for,
But this love has brought me to my knees.
Deep in lilies,
Staring at the sky,
Somehow I believe you will fall down from it.
It's this house,
Full of your laughter,
Thats invades my sanity.
And to you that I can't let go of,
I cling to your memories,
In the ever fading house.
Time flies,
My tears dry.
I begin to see,
Maybe never again will I hold you.
Maybe I'll never have this love again.
My hands start to let go.
Wherever these memories have carried me,
I'm coming back.
I'm starting to see that no matter the summer,
You'll always be my winter.
