after that embarassing moment, the boys manager decided to break the awkward silenaige"paige I heard you're in need of a partner for the duet on the new song you are covering am I corr?" he asked
I nodded my head "yeah, justwrot found the right guy to fit the song yet and I was hoping I would release the song for my fans during the tour.. but looks like that's not happening" I let out a little giggle.
he raised in eyebrow then looked at the boys. "what about Mr. hemmings?" he pointed out. Luke's head shot up from his phone. "I'm sorry.. w-what?" Luke stuttered.
I looked over at Luke giving him a half smile. "are you up for it pretty boy" I joked making him let out a small laugh.
"well what's the song?" he said in consideration.
I never really thought I would have Luke be featured on a song with me, but I guess its a chance worth taking.
"overboard. its kinda like a love song" I shrugged.
"I'll do it" he instantly agreed causing me to smile widly.
"well you both need to rehears and run over the lines before tomorrows show." Ali said.
"yes, just step inside the studio and we'll record it and see how this bad boy sounds" Adam said as Luke nodded his head pointing me in the direction.
I sat on one stool as Luke sat beside me on another, with only one micro phone standing in front of us. I reached down in my bag grabbing the sheet of lyrics what we both have to look off off.
"um, I start off and then you come in here" I pointed on the paper. "okay let's do this" he shot a smile at me.
the music began to play and I got a little nervous inside, butterflies. and I don't usually get that kinda shit.
"it feels like we've been out at sea. so back and forth thats how it seems (woah) and when I wanna talk, you say to me that if its meant to be it will be" I looked over at look for a split second and saw him staring at me really feeling the music
"ohh woah, so crazy in this thing we call love and now that we've got it we just can't give up, I'm reaching out for ya, you got me out here in the water and I" the words just flowing out of my mouth. I nodded my head to look to tell him its his verse.
"I'm overboard. and I need your love to pull me up. I can't swim on my own its too much. feels like I'm drowning without your love so throw yourself out to me, my life saver" he sang so beautiful, he matched the song perfect.
he sang the rest of his verse then it came the time we both sang together.
he looked over at me still singing in the microphone and I don't the same thing.
"its suppose to be some give and take I know, but your only taking and not giving any more, so what do I do? cause I still love you. your the only who can save me" its like our voices were meant to sing together.
after the song finished Luke gave me a high five "look who's singing together on tour" Luke winked.
"awesome" I smiled.
the boys came in all clapping their hands in sync making me blush
