Nathaniel's POV
As the new kid started to take off their hood I didn't pay attention due to the piece of paper in front of me that I was doodling on. Miss. Bustier gave us previously a worksheet to work on to take it easy before meeting the new kid, they're just like any other kid that transfers, not really any surprises in that.
3rd POV
as the oblivious boy finally zoned in and payed attention to the now revealed girl his eyes grew wide and glistened with excitement, a hint of surprise came out of his voice
"It's you!"
The girl turned her head making her (H/C) hair flipped in a semi circle and she landed her glossy (E/C) eyes on him.
"Oh! What up art dude! Sorry 'bout your notebook" she said yelling towards the top of the roof of the classroom so it could reach the ears of the boy.
Out of pure embarrassment of what he did Nathaniel quickly sat back down and buried his face into his paper and turned red "it okay.." he said in the awfully familiar quiet voice that his classmates are used to. The girl smiled and started introducing herself,
"Hello!" She said "I'm (Y/N), (L/N) I've come from London, England and this is the first time I've moved so please be kind" she gave a wonky smile that somehow brightened the class a little.
"Now class, I shall give you an amount of free time for you to get to know (Y/N) better" Miss. Bustier said "please be nice to her and respect what she says" giving a small glance at Chloe when she spoke those words, obviously directing them to her. But of course Miss Chloe Bourgeois doesn't listen, she doesn't need to listen to some commoner set rules for her, of course we know even if she did listen she wouldn't anyways follow them anyways .
Miss. Bustier then assign (Y/N) a seating arrangement. The seat beside Nathaniel, it seemed like they knew each other is what she would say if you asked. She left the room after giving a glance to Chloe before leaving.
"Hey, new kid" Chloe snorted and made her way towards Nathaniel's table "Hey." (Y/N) said giving Chloe a small smile, the blonde female just grunted gave a small amused smirk and continued to spill her poison "I don't think I've ever seen something so hideous in my life!" She said dramatically leaning slightly backwards and laughing hideously as if it was the funniest thing in the world.
Of course knowing that Chloe was going to make a rude remark Marinette Dupain-Cheng had to, just had to give a come back, and may I say it was going to be good, until she got briefly interrupted by the new girl that seemed unfazed but her just now happy face turned bored and she looked directly into Chloe's eyes and a form of tension grew in the room.
"You know, what was your name? Oh Chloe right. I was gonna give you a nasty face but..." she paused and all the attention went to
(Y/N)'s mouth
"I see you already have one"
