Leayah P.O.V
My name is Leayah, Leayah Hope. I'm an orphan. I'm a mute. I don't speak at all. I carry my journal with all my thoughts in it. I'm 15 years old. I haven't spoken since I was five. So 10 years. The orphanage that I live in is okay. I mean sure, there is always that one bully that won't ever leave me alone but besides that, I'm living the best life I could ever get and have. So I was sitting in my room starring at the blank wall, when over the intercom, a voice states.
" All girls between 14-17 please enter the hall." I hear muttering like
" We're going to get adopted and everyone will have a home." Speak for yourself. Your only 14 years old. Your still cute enough to even be looked at. I have 3 more years before I'm kicked out this place.I grab my journal and move to the hall. I ended up being the last person in line thanks to Violetta.
" No one's going to adopt a mute like you." She sneers. Anything new? Like I know. But what makes you any different. Your still here right?
" Well, that's no good way to treat this girl" We both turn to see a curly haired boy. Well, who let the noodles out the store.
" OMG you're Jack Avery" yelled Violetta. I'mma head out. What's the point anymore. I got my stuff together and was about to move when someone grabs my wrist. It was another boy. He looks like he's about 6 feet or something. I can smell the coffee on him. But why does he look so familiar. Never mind. I need to go.
" Jonah, she looks like you bro", came another dude.Jonah? Jonah...anyway, the other boy who had a gap and looked pretty cute. While he was distracted by Gappy, I grab my journal and ran. I then bumped into someone again. What am I? A human car crash? I turned to a page that said I'm sorry. Seeing as I say that often.
" It's okay. My names Zach what's yours?"
I turn to the page that said Leayah Hope.
"hey guys come here" As soon as he said that all 4 boys came to me. And a boy that I never saw. All I know is he platinum blond hair. I don't know why but I swear the 6 foot giant looks so familiar.
Jack P.O.V
" Let's adopted a child" Jonah said. We all turned to him and gave him a 'What' look.
" Dude, you said what" said Zach.
"Let's adopted a child" he said again. I mind link Corbyn and Daniel and asked them if this was part of the future. The gave me a yes.
" But we're not ...scratch that only you and Corbyn are old enough to adopt a child" I said.
" Hey don't bring me into this," he said. After a long talk, we agreed. It's not like we have a choice.
So we got in the car and pulled up to an orphanage car. We got there and Jonah asked for a child between 14-17. We saw about 20 girls line up. As we went to talk to some girls I saw this girl with a journal and another girl who said " No one's going to adopt a mute like you". To the girl with the journal. Something told me she is the one, so I went over there and said,
" Well that's no way to treat this girl" They both turned around.
" OMG your Jack Avery", said the mean girl. I guess I got distracted by her because when I looked to find the other girl, Jonah and Daniel were talking to her. So I mind link then and told, told them she is the one.
