My prayers didn't work because right now, outside my condo, the jerk who has the guts to kiss me in the lips is here EARLY this morning.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Galit kong utas sa kanya.

"Good morning too babe and you look hot" sabi niya habang hinehead to toe ako.

Inirapan ko siya at sinarado ng malakas ang pintuan. Napangisi ako ng narinig ko ang kanyang daing, marahil may natamaan sa kanyang mukha sa lakas ng pagkasirado. Serves him right.

"Hey Stellar! Open this door! Hey!"

Did he just called my Stellar again? What the hell is his problem!?

Binuksan ko ang akong pintuan at sinapak siya sa mukha. Hindi niya inaasahan ang aking gagawin kaya lumaki ang kanyang mata sa suntok ko.

"Okay, you have strong knuckles babe. Stop hurting me" sabi niya habang nakataas ang dalawang kamay.

"First of all, stop calling me Stellar you freak and second, what the fuck are you doing here?"

"Woah, first of all sweetheart, my intention of going here is purer than your soul" he said mimicking me.

"Can you let me in? I want to talk to you about something" seryoso niyang sambit.

"I don't let strangers wandering in my condo, meet me at the coffee shop downstairs" sabi ko at inirapan siya.

"I'll be waiting here outside"

I rolled my eyes and closed the door. After a few minutes of grooming myself and locked my condo unit, pinuntahan na namin ang coffee shop na nasa ibaba ng building at nag order ng makakain.

After the waiter got our orders, tinaasan ko siya ng kilay na nagpapahiwatig na sabihin na ang kanyang kailangan sa akin.

"I need your help" seryoso niyang sabi.

"What help?" Nakataas kilay parin.

He sighed and said "Canyoubemypretendgirlfriend?"

I blinked two times and answered him. "No"

"Huh? Why? I mean, I'm good looking and rich. Why can't you agree?" Nakakunot noo niyang tanong.

"You can't just go around and asked some girl to be your pretend girlfriend just because you're handsome and rich. Like duh? How arrogant." I said coldly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say something like that. It's just that, my family is too pushy for that fucking arranged marriage. I'm desperate to get out of it" ani ni Klaus.

"Nothing. I'm sorry but hindi talaga ako pwedeng maging girlfriend mo. Unang una, the fuck? Pangalawa, hindi kita kilala. I mean, hindi talaga tayo close or something na ganyan. Pangatlo, can't you just say to your family na ayaw mong magpakasal?"

"I can't say no to them kasi nagkasala ako. It's kind of confidential so I can't tell you."

Nag iba ang emosyon sa kanyang mata. I can see sadness, fear, and grief. It's not my business so I didn't ask anymore.

"Oh, okay. So-"

Nanlaki ang aking mata ng narinig ang boses na iyon. Dahan dahan akong napalingon sa aking likuran dahil doon galing ang boses ng aking kinatatakutan. Tumango ako kasi wala naman akong magagagawa. I look at Klaus apologetically and he nodded. I was about to say something to him but he cutted me off.

"I have to go Stellar. I have some errands to make and please think thoroughly about what I said, I really need your help and it was nice meeting you."

He talked fast and got out of the coffee shop immediately after saying goodbye. I sighed and looked at my brother.

"I heard that you had an accident?"

"Yes. Fortunately, it was just mild and no major casualties." sagot ko ng seryoso.

"You should stop being a headache to our parents Anais Stellar. Grow up! You're lucky and the privileged to have this life and you're taking it for granted!" Nanggigigil na lintaya ng aking kapatid.

I fisted my hands in my lap as he goes talking mainly about my faults and flaws. Sumikip ang aking dibdib sa mga naririnig mula sa kanyang bibig pero hindi ko ipapakita na nasasaktan ako. Hindi ko pwedeng ipakita ang kahinaan ko. Hindi pwede.

Tinaas ko ang aking mukha mula sa pagyuko at tinignan ang isa sa mga naging inspirasyon ko sa aking buhay. I miss him babying me. I miss him calling me princess. I miss him protecting me. But I know that it will never come back.

"I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, for bothering your busy schedules and I'll stay away from your lives. That's why I want to get out of that house because of all of you. It was nice seeing you again Kuya but I'm quite busy. Goodbye"

Matapos kong sabihin 'yon ay iniwanan ko siyang nakatanga. Hindi marahil inaasahan na tatawagin ko siyang Kuya.

Wala naman talaga siyang ka meeting dito sa cafe kasi pagpasok ko sa elevator ay siyang pagsakay niya ng kotse.

Tinignan ko ang nadadaanang mga palapag ng tumigil ang elevator at bumukas. Pumanhik ako sa akong unit pero bago pa man makapasok ay may tumawag sa'kin.

"Stellar"

I saw Klaus walking up to me. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako dahil alam kong tungkol ito sa napag usapan namin kanina.

"I already said no Klaus."

"You have no choice Stellar Anais. Sorry for cornering you but I already told my parents about us." Prente niyang sabi.

It took me seconds before I realized what he meant.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? KLAUS HINDI ITO MAGANDANG BIRO" Nanggigigil kong sigaw sa kanya. Walang pakialam kahit sa hallway nagsusumigaw kasi baka masapak ko ang gagong nasa aking harapan.

"Sorry Stellar but you can't do anything about it. You can't tell my parents the truth kasi kilala nila ang family mo. I bet my mom is already calling your mom. Tita Isabelle right?"

Napakatingin ako aa kanya ng masama. How dare this jerk manipulate this situation.
