Long ago...
In a time of stone roads, forgery, and when bards tell tales of great daring adventures in far off places. A young innocent child was born in tragedy.
Her mother's time was alas drained with her father was dragged into war to never return alive. As such this child whom wasn't named was to be sent back to the heavens or be adopted. Luckily however when she was sent to an orphanage a noble family found her. They had learnt of this child's tragedy and opted to take her in. Eyes unopened, and a heart that have yet to experience the vastness of the world, she was adopted...
This noble family have tried for a child yet one of their own blood would never be. The science of the time would never know why that was. However today this was all to well known: the mother was infertile. No harm done however, they adopted a child whom they've named Rhodia Chrosime Meldona. The orphanage had given her the first and middle names because shortly after birth she was deemed to be blind in both eyes. It was decided, in attempt to bless her, her name would be Rhodia Chrosime. Named after the gemstone Rhodochrosite though to have immense healing properties and is typically pink.
After Rhodia was brought home preparations for her life growing up began immediately. The nobles almost forgetting that she was adopted, and later concluding that at the end of the day it didn't mater as long was Rhodia could be called a Meldona, a low ranking but respectable name of nobles known for their beliefs of virtue over all else.
