RWBY: The Jigsaw Puzzle

Chapter 4: Remains

"HELP ME! SOMEBODY LET ME OUT!" Yatsuhashie screamed, but quickly kept quiet when a television monitor came on, and someone started talkubg to him.

"Yatsuhashie Daichi. I want to play a game. You liked to live out your life, watching people from the shadows. Stalking people is your second nature, and it is time to atone for your sins against the world. By now you would have noticed that it is painful to move. The only way out is through the chains hooked on your skin. To atone, you must set yourself free." Jigsaw said mercilessly.

Yatauhashie looked around frantically, and shortly realised what he had to do. He only then noticed a times counting down from three minutes. He ripped his hand to the side, and the chain tore off, leaving a gaping hole in his hand. He shrieked in pain, and ripped his other hand free. He saw the timer at one minute, twenty one seconds, and hurried up. He ripped the chains out from the tissue on his knees, then his ankles. He yelled and cried in pain with each chain he ripped loose.

He managed to get almost all the chains loose, save for the last one that got hooked through the skin under his tongue. He weakly pulled at the last chain, but failed as the timer hit zero. He looked on helplessly as the last chain ripped his jaw off. He collapsed and bled out through the gaping tear wound where his jaw once sat.

Meanwhile by Coco:

"ANYBODY!" She yelled desperately before sinking to the ground in tears.

"COCO!" Velvet called with fear.

"Velvet! What's going on!?" Coco asked fearfully.

"I don't know! I want out Coco, I want to GET OUT OF HERE!" She cried helplessly.

"Velvet! There's a casette tape. Maybe it has a hint to the way out!?" Coco asked frantically.

Velvet played the tape, and a voice could be heard.

"Coco Adel, Velvet Scarletina. During your time in Beacon, you always had resentment towards a certain team. Enough anger and self blame you attempted to commit suicide. You may notice that the room you're in is soundproof. Nobody can hear you scream, just as nobody can see you. Except for me. Once the seventh bell rings, your fate will be sealed. The key is with you." The voice said through the casette tape.

After a while of searching around, Coco found a switch and flipped it. The lights came on, and she shrieked when she saw the body of Cardin Winchester lying on the floor with a slit throat. Velvet threw up from the smell, followed by the anxiety building up within her.

"What did he mean? What do we do!?" Coco asked bluntly.

"I've seen this before!! It's coming back to me!" Velvet shrieked. "No no no!" She cried.

"What do you mean!? VELVET! Look at me. If we're going to get out, we will have to work together. Now calm down. Breathe." Coco said to try calm the bunny down.

"How can I!? Every person that has been through here has died, except for me! This is one of his sick games, he uses self harm to teach people lessons, and sometimes they never see the light of day again!!" Velvet panicked.

"How do you know all this!?" Coco asked angrily, only to get no response from the whimpering girl.

"VELVET YOU BETTER GET YOUR HEAD TOGETHER AND TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON DAMMIT!" Coco snapped, causing Velvet to recoil and shriek. Then they noticed a foot lying on the floor next to the chain that Coco was in.

"What the fuck!?" She said with a fear stricken face, then got an idea.

"Velvet! Look for a saw! Maybe we csn cut through the chain!" Coco said rapidly.

"O-o-okay." She whimpered.

She felt around in the stagnant bath water for a saw, and pulled the plug to release the water while Coco opened the cistern and stuck her hand in the water there.

"I found one!" She yelled.

Velvet looked behind some pipes and found another one.

"Me too!" She said with no confidence.

They both started sawing away at the chain. Fifteen minuted went by, then Cocos saw blade snapped.

"Dammit! Dammit dammit!" She cried with loss of hope.

She took a brick and threw it at the only mirror in the room. It shattered, then Velvet noticed some light reflecting off something. She took a stone and threw it, shattering the rest of the mirror to reveal cameras.

"I hope you rot in hell for this motherfucker!" She screamed.

"If you're watching this, then I hope you die in the most painful way imaginable you bastard!" Coco shouted as she flipped the bird at the camera.

Two hours later:

Coco and Velvet both gave up trying to beg their way out of it, and sat on the ground, sobbing.

"You have three hours left to make a decision. A wolf caught in a trap will chew off its own leg to survive." Jigsaw said cryptically, vaguely hinting to their answer for escape.

"Velvet! I have an idea, but you're not going to like it." Coci said with an unsteady voice.

"Coco, what are you on about?" Velvet said drowsily.

"I'm going to get out, but I will be back for you. Understand?" Coco said with rising anxiety.

"What?" She asked as she tried cutting through the chain a second time, only for her blade to snap to.

"I needed that!" Coco snapped.

"What!? No, Coco, don't do it! Don't leave me!" Velvet screamed fearfully.

(Cue Saw VIII Soundtrack)

"I won't leave. I will be back." Coco said as she took a deep breath and picked up a block of concrete.

"No Coco please don't leave me!" Velvet yelled as Coco struck her foot as hard as she could with the block. She shrieked in pain, but repeatedly struck her foot with the brick. Eventually she crushed her foot so much that it was a flat, cut, split piece of skin and muscle hanging on to the remaining tendons. She gripped the shackle, and pushed it over her foot, as it took skin off, she continued pushing the shackle until her foot slipped out with barely any skin left. She shrieked in agony with each passing second.

"I will… be back. I promise, I will never abandon you in this hellhole." Coco said shakily as she started going into shock.

"No…" Velvet mouthed as she had strained her vocal cords.

Coco drug herself towards the exit, and made her way out. As she took the first corner, she saw Taiyang turn the next corner while investigating more of the area.

"Help… me… Velvet." Coco whispered with a broken voice.

"It's alright. I'm going to get you out of here. You're safe now." Tai whispered gently to not scare the girl.

"Velvet… the room." Coco whispered one more time before she fell unconscious.

Tai got Coco into his car, and lay her on the back seat. He marked the address and sped to the hospital and got her to the ICU.

"Any idea who did this to her?" The nurse asked quickly.

"I found her in the same warehouse I found Jaune." He said quickly as he left to phone huntsmen for backup.

(End soundtrack.)

"Hello, Fox. I want to play a game."

That is all for this chapter. There will probably only be one or two more chapters for this story depending on how many more characters I decide to kill off. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter.
