The Day I Met Him

Chapter 1

Amelia’s P.O.V

"Wake Up" "Wake up today is your big day you don’t want to spend the day in bed do you?" Sabrina said as she tore the covers away from me

"Mhmhm leave me alone" I grumbled trying to stay still so hopefully she would receive the message and leave me alone.

"Hmph oww what was that for?" I said as I dusted off my arms and legs while staring at my best friend/ roommate who just pushed me off my bed.

"Well I’m not gonna let you waste your day just sitting in bed, get dressed we're going shopping" Sabrina says as she leave my bedroom while leaving the door wide open.

Geez

She acts as if I never had a birthday. I better hurry before she comes back with a cup of water as. I’m about to jump in the shower I get a text message from my father "Happy 21st birthday Baby girl" "hmmp" just like him not even a phone call or nothing.

While I’m in the shower I wonder why are we going shopping what does she have planned for today...

Sabrina P.O.V

"Yeah she just jumped in the shower, we're going shopping and then to dinner later keep me updated on the info. Well okay ill talk to you later bye" I say as I hang up the phone.

Let's just say that Amelia isn’t a party person she’s more of a laid back kind of person very secluded. I know she’s not expecting anything big since we rarely do anything for her birthdays but she's turning 21 today and she has to come out of her shell sooner or later.

I have no idea why Amelia is so shy. She’s very beautiful she's around 5'3 beautiful honey colored eyes, long beautiful brunette hair, cute button nose and a hourglass body to die for and the worst part is she thinks she's fat and that she's nothing special but she is special she’s something I would call a rare gem.

"Sabrina what else are we gonna be doing today?" Amelia says as she emerges from her bedroom in a white V-neck and some dark wash jeans and some low heels.

"Uhmm just a little shopping and dinner out" I say as I go to grab the keys from the table

Amelia’s P.O.V

There’s something I feel like she isn’t telling me and by how the silent the car ride is I doubt she will spill. As soon as we get to the mall its full like usual.

"So what store are we going into first?' I ask Sabrina as we are heading towards the entrance

"To topshop why?" ask Sabrina while looking down at her phone. I wonder who she is texting.

"Isn’t that a place a little to dressy just to go out to a dinner?" I ask as she maneuvers her way through the crowd.

"Well we need outfits for tonight since it is your birthday dinner, something new right?" she says as she stares at me.

I just nod my head in agreement as we keep making our way to the store. As soon as we walk in Sabrina turns to me and says, "ill be picking out your outfit for tonight, it needs to perfect."

"Okay sure I guess " I say to her as I mindlessly chew on my nails "just trust me on this" "okay I trust ill just be looking around" "okay" Sabrina, says as she walks off into the store leaving me wandering around

After about 30 minutes Sabrina comes up to me "I found the perfect outfit lets head towards the dressing rooms"

The first dress she gives me is a one- shoulder black dress with some rhinestone designs that reaches mid-thigh and some crisscross high heels. As I try on the dress I realize it is way shorter on me than on the hanger there is no way I’m going out in this.
