Hey you! Yes, you reading this! Did you know that you are absolutely beautiful, inside and out? Well, you are! I will tell you why- it's not because you have designer clothes, perfect hair or teeth, or even wear make up. That stuff is only skin deep. YOU are beautiful because Jesus made you and loves you unconditionally! Isn't that great? HE made you and knows everything about you! He will always be by your side, whenever you need Him, as your best friend! You don't need the popular kids at school to say, "Oh, look at her! She is so pretty!" Or even "She/he is so ugly!" It doesn't matter what they say, so don't let them tell you any different than, "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!" You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) by God himself! His own handy work! You are amazing just the way you are, and the right people at the right time will accept you for who you are! Just be yourself!
The Bible says, in 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."
Inner beauty is so much more important than what you look like on the outside. The Lord has GREAT plans for your life and will never leave you nor forsake you! The next time you're having a rough day, just try to smile and say, ""What am I worrying for? What am I being so insecure about? Jesus loves me and is bigger than any problems I may ever face!" He can and does move mountains! Miracles happen all the time, through Him and His unending love for us! We must also return that love in our own lives, thoughts and actions.
We only have one life to live for and give to God, don't waste it on things that don't even matter. Believe me, I know there have been hard times in your life and there will be more to come, but that doesn't mean that God doesn't love you. No, when the rain is falling and when your heart feels broken, that is the time to look to Jesus for help and guidance- not to blame Him for everything that has gone wrong in your life. Always seek God, both when times are good and when times are hard. A lot of the time it can be really hard to see why things happen in our lives the way they do, and I don't really have an answer for you, but everything happens for a reason and the Lord knows that reason. Trust in Him.
Even when you think that all of the terrible things you have done in your life are too much for God to forgive you for, He will. Pray, repent and ask God for his mercy. You don't have to have perfect attendance at church to be a follower of Christ. He doesn't look at attendance records or material things, He looks at the heart and your heart is beautiful if it has Jesus in it!
