However, when she finds a pair of crimson stained scissors in the attic, she begins to question everything in her "perfect" life.

A trip to her childhood home leaves Tara with some startling questions about her past and family history. After realising that nothing is what it seems, she sets off across the country to the town of Raidak in hope of some answers.

At first, the people of Raidak were inviting and kind, but then she met Kari, Tara is treated as an outcast. Tara finds it weird and starts to question Kari, she confesses that she was framed for the murder of her family. Kari introduces Tara to a new group of friends; Harley, Reid, Gideon, Violet, and Lucy. Tara convinces them to help her find the real murderer, but as she investigates the case more are found dead. The murder weapon: a pair of scissors.
