Jesus Wept
That's what it says
I find it hard to accept
That this was the way
To let us suffer
To let us feel pain
We don't want to go under
But it just won't go away
A shadow lurks behind us
Watching our every move
Now it becomes harder to trust
And one by one, we're removed
Why do we humans cry?
Why do we need to do this?
You know we're afraid to fly
Somewhere far into the abyss
But this is the risk we all take
To either fall, or rise above
Even though we might break
We believe in Your love
The light and darkness
Feeling happiness or fear
Even in the times you feel the farthest
It is those moments in which You are near
