Chapter 2 - The Test

"Test him"...

"Yes Boss"... obeyed the female on the other side of the phone.

"You better not miss the shot" Haruka , Jungkook's trusted and the best assassin warned Taehyung keeping an eye on him as she stood crossed arms wearing black leather outfit while her eyes checked out the male In front of her who was adjusting his scope ready for a sniper kill on the rooftop.

Three Hours Earlier

"That's Wonjin the best man of Jaewon. Without him Jaewon is half of what he is now." explained Namjoon to Taehyung while they were seated across the gigantic LED as Namjoon showed pictures of the two most powerful gang members of 'Costello Gang', leader Jaewon and his best man Wonjin. " You have to assassinate Wonjin, he will be showing up in the exhibition event tonight in place of Jaewon, there he will be accompanied by Lady Nayeon, who will be exchanging briefcases with Wonjin.

They have set their meeting around 8:30 pm on the balcony. It will be out best shot to eliminate Wonjin." Briefed Namjoon to Taehyung while slide show of certain images ran on the LED screen.

"That's it?" Taehyung questioned confidently. "I can complete this task by 8:31pm." Taehyung huffed a laugh while commenting on the job he had to do.

"Don't be too confident Taehyung. If you missed that shot you might not live to take more shots in future" Namjoon warned Taehyung which sounded more like a threat to the male.

Taehyung kept quiet, he knew eliminating another Gang's member was a good start of his undercover mission. He stood up tapping on Namjoon 's shoulder .

"Consider it done." said Taehyung and left.

Present

Taehyung was all set with his rifle waiting for his target to show up . He could see Lady Nayeon and Wonjin entering on the balcony through his scope. Tae took a deep breath further calming his nerves, he didn't want to miss the shot at any cost. Taehyung glanced at his watch for one last time which said 30 sec till 8:31.

He pointed his rifle at the required position, his aim hovering over Wonjin's head. He could feel Haruka's piercing eyes behind his back.

Exact at 8:31 pm Taehyung pulled the trigger with taking down the target with a direct headshot. A few seconds after there went a hassle on the other balcony where the victim lied, Taehyung quickly put everything back and turned around giving a smirk to Haruka "Easier than I thought" Taehyung said. Haruka returned the smirk with her arms still folded.

4 Hours Later at the Grand Indoor Pool

Taehyung walked in with his swim shorts and a towel. He tossed away the towel on the resting chair and looked at the pool. Without wasting much time he dived in splashing water everywhere. His mind was drifted off to certain things as he floated on the water surface. He needed to contact Dahyun and give the news of their first success, also he needed to give and take further necessary information.
His train of thoughts came to a halt when he realized someone was standing by the edge of the pool.... Jungkook in his shorts.

A smirk visible on his lips as Jungkook stood ogling at Taehyung. "I heard you surpassed your test". He started with his deep voice. It would be a lie if we say Taehyung wasn't taken aback by Jungkook's well maintained figure, his skin throwing the perfect tone, his stunning body and abs seemed to have been neatly carved while Jungkook stood tall and mysterious on the pool edge.

It took Taehyung a few seconds to reply, "Honestly speaking I expected a little more than that for a test", Tae replied in a cocky manner looking away from Jungkook. "Really Now?" , Jungkook smirked wider not forgetting to notice Taehyung's flustered state before he slides into the pool swimming his way to Taehyung slowly like a shark moving towards its prey.

Taehyung felt the water move and turned around seeing Jungkook heading his way, he felt his breath got stuck in his throat as Tae started moving backwards before he reached the pool wall on the other end. Tae was now more focused on how to escape this certain situation rather than answering Jungkook.

" I am interested to know what kind of trial you expected then Kim Taehyung". Jungkook asked as he moved forward reaching up to Tae now caging the delicate looking boy in his muscular arms. The atmosphere started to get hotter for both the males, even the cold pool water seemed to be boiling.

"Uh- maybe more than just a single headshot?", Tae managed to utter unsure as he kept his composure. Their faces a few inches away making Taehyung's mind go blank. Jungkook huffed a humorless chuckle at the male's unconfident words while his eyes examined the boy's deep doe eyes, his perfect shaped nose with a small mole and his pink luscious plump lips inviting to be kissed, "Where did all that annoying cocky confidence go?", Jungkook asked fake surprised, his index finger now trailing down from Taehyung's upper chest all the way down from his navel, finally reaching up to boy's waist, before Jungkook hooked his finger in waistband of Taehyung's tight shorts pulling them.

"Listen baby boy", Jungkook's voice cold as ice, "You dont fucking get to choose a trial for you neither throw your fucking remark as long as its not asked" , Jungkook growled leaning close, the tip of his nose ghosting over the crook of Teahyung's neck as he inhaled his sweet scent, not sure himself to why this particular boy attracted him.

Tae's breath starting to get unsteady at the closeness of the other male "I-I understand" surrendered Tae, not wanting any trouble with his boss, though he hated himself for just stuttering. "Good boy, I always admire obedient kittens", Jungkook grinned finally releasing his hold on the guy in-front of him and swam away. "I am expecting you in my office tomorrow, 1 pm sharp", ordered Jungkook before pushing himself out of pool, grabbing Tae's towel and left drying his hair off.
