Beyond expectations

Chapter One

"Hello?!" I call out for what seems like the hundredth time in the past five minutes. I have no clue where I am or where my friends are, all I know is that I'm not with them.

I must've passed out from all the alcohol or something, because my head is spinning like fucking crazy and my vision is blurry as I try to make my way through the dark woods. I don't even know what time it is. Maybe 2am? 3am?

"Alex? Alex is that you?" I call out once again, my voice hoarse. I'm starting to lose my voice already, ugh. I'm that type of girl that never loses her voice but the night I need it the most, it seems to disappear.

It feels like someone has been following me all the time since I woke up but every time I turn around there's no one there. I need to get out of this god damned place. It's cold, scary and hell it might be filled with different and scary creatures. And by creatures I mean bunnies, don't get me wrong.

But really, who am I kidding? We all know that this town is rumoured to be the place where the vampires like to be. If you ask me though, I don't believe in any of that shit. Why would a person, if you could even call it that, who drinks blood straight out of the vein of another person even exist? That's just pure craziness that some deluded freak must've made up after downing bottle after bottle of whiskey.

I look up in the sky, trying to find that stupid star my science teacher was talking about; the one who shows which way north is or something? I don't know. I barely listen to Mr.Sutan, I mean he's bald, he has the most stinkiest breath ever and his lessons are just complete shit.

I may come off as the nerdy study girl, but in fact I'm actually not. I do my homework, yes but not more than that.

As I turn around to turn my body towards the right direction of the leading star I get that feeling again; the feeling of someone staring at me. When I look down from the star filled sky, there's a dark figure standing only meters away from me? "Alex? Alex is that you?" I sigh in relief. I finally found my stupid boyfriend.

Alex takes a few steps closer to me, exposing himself in the dark. Just as I'm about to run up to him, wrap my arms around his neck and he will swirl me around in circles in his tight grip, I decide against it. There's something wrong and this isn't him.

Who is it?

His dark and curly hair is exposed in the light of the moon shining on him, he's tall, really tall in fact. He's dressed decent yet sexy to be honest; it's all black boots, black tight jeans and a black t-shirt. As my eyes roam his muscular body they end up on his face; his mouth. Something isn't right.
