~ two weeks later ~
"(Y/n)!! Hurry up! He'll be here any minute!" (Y/f/n) yelled up the stairs.
Today was your first date with Jensen. Actually we're calling it a hangout sesh until we hear otherwise from Jensen.
After an hour of arguing over the phone, he picked a fancy restaurant a couple blocks away that I have never been to.
Thankfully conventions ended last weekend so you have all night to "hang out".
As you finish your makeup you hear a few knocks on the door.
"Will you get it for me please while I slip my shoes on?!" You yell down the stairs.
You slip your heals on and look in the mirror astonished by how well you did by yourself.

You slowly make you're way down the stairs trying not to fall. You see Jensen standing by the door with a small set of roses.
You see him smile at you with so much joy in his eyes. Maybe this is a date after all.
"You look great." He complements you.
"You too" you shoot back while smiling wide.
You sit there smiling and taking in the moment when (y/n) jumps in and grabs the flowers.
"You guys have fun. I'll tend to these." She rambled. You pull her in for a hug and whisper in her ear. "You sure you're not going on the date?"
She giggles and hops in the kitchen to fix the flowers.
"I'll be home later!" You yell.
"Okay have fun. And don't be out too late!" She yells back. You chuckle and walk with Jensen out the front door.
"Ma lady" he says fancy like and holds his arm out.
"I guess I can't say no to that." You chuckle and link your arm through his.
~ time skip presented by Jared's floofy hair~
You're walking out of the restaurant with linked arms smiling with a full belly.
"I'm telling you, I'm going to pay you back. You didn't have to pay for dinner tonight." You whine.
"I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to." He smiled at you and you felt your cheeks flush.
He lowered his arms and intertwined his fingers with yours. You immediately felt safe.
You walked the rest of the way home like this and kept small talk. Talking about your hobbies, and even a little about your personal life. Of course when he brought up your family you just said that you don't talk anymore.
He understood and pushed the conversation away.
You finally made it to your front door.
"I had a great time tonight, (y/n)." He smiled at you.
"Me too. Maybe we can do it again?" You creeped in to ask.
"I would like that." He smiled at you. He leaned in and kissed your cheek and you could feel the heat radiating off of you. You said your goodbyes and watched him walk to his car.
You walked in and stood by the door for a second waiting to hear him drive off.
After a minute or two you decided to see if he was okay. You turn around and open the door just in time to see him about to knock. You step out, "hey, are you okay?" You asked
"Yeah, actually I think I forgot something." He said. You can see his jacket still on his shoulders and his chain to his wallet still on his belt loop.
"What did you forget?" You asked confused.
"This." And suddenly his lips were on yours.
You stood there shocked for a second but soon you melted into the kiss.
You pulled away for air, "do you want to come inside?" You asked breathlessly.
"Of course." He smiled.
You ended up staying up all night with Disney movies, cookie dough, and wine.
After about three hours of cuddling you started to fall asleep but right before you drift off you hear Jensen get a call and answer the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jared."
A few second later,
"Yeah the date went great! Thanks for setting this all up."
You slightly hear Gen on the other line asking why he was whispering.
"Well the date ended so great that we ended up on her couch an-"
"JENSEN I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE!" You heat Gen yell and you try not to laugh.
" no! We stayed up watching movies and drank a little. She passed out on my chest a few minutes ago."
" wow Jen you really liked her don't you?" You hear Jared say.
"Y-yeah, I really do. She's everything I want in a woman. She's great." I start to move a little "in my sleep" and get his attention.
"Okay man I've got to go. I don't want to wake her up. Bye." You hear him hang up and put his phone down.
A second later you feel his arm wrap protectively around you and you fall into a deep sleep.
