I was running. Again. Faster and faster until my lungs hurt like crazy and my breath was coming out fast and short. I didn't dare to turn around to see if they were catching up to me already.

I heard their steps behind me, their heavy boots where making loud noises whenever they met the ground. I ran up a little alley and then left in the hope of them not being able to follow.

But they managed to find me easily, moving closer to me slowly. I was standing with the back the wall, no chance to escape. The man in the front grinned at me and grabbed my arm. I struggled against his grip and tried to get away but it was hopeless. Before I could do anything else I felt a heavy hit on my head and everything went black.

When I woke up again I was strapped to something that reminded me of an operating table. The air was full of the smell of sanitizer and something burned. The room was big and full of bright light. I couldn't look very far because my head was strapped to the table too so I wasn't able to make out a lot of the rest of the room. The ceiling and the walls where white and near me where some big machines and desks with buttons and blinking light. I didn't know what the hell this meant but I knew it would be damn hard to get out of this.

Now I could hear footsteps coming towards me and I looked over to where I thought they came from. A man was walking towards the machines while some other people entered the room from somewhere out of my field of vision. I gulped. The man turned around me with a grin on his face.

"Where am I?", I asked, my voice sounding strained.
"Well, honey, you'll find out soon enough. That is if you survive the procedure.", the man said while controlling the straps that where fixing me to the table.
"Procedure?", I asked sounding slightly panicked:"What procedure?"
The man ignored me and got something from beside the table I was lying on.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!", I said trying to cover up my fear.
"Well yeah I noticed. And now keep still.", he responded and I saw that he was holding a syringe. I panicked, moving around as much as possible, trying to escape. But he just grabbed my arm forcefully and hold it still before putting the needle in my arm. In a matter of seconds everything went black again just for a blinding light to take of all my vision a second later.
