Thin walls and sleepless nights... for Alec at least

Before I begin this chapter, I'd like to introduce myself. Hello, my name is Alex. I like writing fan fiction. This is my first one. I hope you like it. Sorry if there are any mistakes, I will edit later. This fanfic is for people 18+. I just feel like I should warn you. It's going to get really intimate. So. Just your warning.

Alec's eyes snapped open. The bright moonlight which crept through the blinds slapped him in the face. He was awake anyway. Damn these thin walls, thought Alec as he grabbed his pillow and lay on his stomach, trying to block out the noise. But even with a pillow covering his head, the noise travelled through the walls of the institute.
As much as he loves his parabatai, he wasn't too found of being in the room next to him. Clary and Jace's moans were all poor Alec could hear. Usually there were some people awake on patrol. Some people trained at ridiculous hours of the night. But Alec could block all those noises out.
Staring at his alarm, hoping that the two shadowhunters would shut the hell up, Alec sat up. They were going to continue for a while. He couldn't sleep here. Great, thought Alec as he shoves his shoes and socks on, a crappy day and now a crappy night.
His day had been a mess. First of all, he had gotten very little sleep the previous night because Clary and Jace has been... busy. He was woken up at 4am to fight some shax demons downtown. He had to train with Clary for an hour while Izzy and Jace went out on a mission. Another mission at 4pm caused Alec to miss meeting up with Magnus for his annual Chairman Meow Birthday Party.
He was tired. But it was useless trying to sleep now. It was clear Jace and Clary weren't planning on stopping anytime soon. And even if he took another room in the institute, he wasn't going to be able to sleep now.
1 am.
Alec grabbed his black jacket and shrugged it on, grabbed his phone and keys to Magnus' apartment. Sleep was no longer a priority.
