Today was Friday which meant today was mine and y/n date I was excited and nervous and then I started thinking ' what if she doesn't like the date I've planned?' but then I got a text from a random number

U: hello Ethan
M:who are you?
U:I'm somebody who knows y/n.
M:um okay,and what about her?
U:I just wanted to let you know that she doesn't like fancy dinners and if you have a fancy dinner planned change plans and take her hiking and a picnic on the beach.
M:okay thanks for the advice,but who are you,and how did you get my number?
U:I'm y/n's mom,and I got your number by tracking y/n messages to her most recent texted and it ended up being you.

M: yeah no I'm sorry but I'm not about to text you y/n was in tears by what she said to you and what you said to her and she hasn't smiled scince she read what you wrote to her, but it seems that whenever I'm around her eyes light up like a Christmas tree and her smile is bigger from the one on the day I met her.
Y/m: Ethan promise me something.
M: yeah sure...I guess
Y/m: keep my daughter safe and happy and if she's ever sad be there for her let her cry on your shoulder if needed if she asks for some space give it to her
M: okay I can promise that
Y/m:I know this isn't my business, but are you in love with my daughter?
M: yes ma'am

It's Friday I'm really nervous for my date with Ethan tonight. I honestly don't care what or where we go as long as I'm with Ethan.im honestly thinking he may be the love of my life...I know it's cheesey but its true. About ten minutes later someone texted me, but it wasn't Ethan...it was my mom I really did not want to talk to her right now
Mom:hey sweetheart
Me:you don't get to sweetheart after what you told me the other day,you don't know how much it hurt me to read that message
Mom:I know it hurt you enough that you haven't been smiling unless Ethan is around.
Me:how do you know about Ethan?
Mom:I was able to track your phone.
Me:yeah no that's invasion of my personal space.
Mom:one question

Me:yes,why does that matter though?
Mom:it doesn't just wanted to know

I wish my mom would stop she tried to get Ethan to get me to unblock her but I blocked her for a reason I want her and my dad out of my life and that's the only way I blocked my dad yesterday because he was the one who actually understood me and basically betrayed me. It is now 6:50 I've been ready for awhile sense I wasn't going to dress up which I'm glad I don't have to dress up

It was 6:50 I was slipping my shoes on then I was going to head down to y/n's house to get her I'm pretty confident that she will love the date that I've planned...if her mom was.telling the truth about her not liking fancy things.
*At the date*
"Ethan where are we going?"y/n asked I had blindfolded her because I wanted it to be a surprise"it's a surprise." I responded to y/n.
*Location of the date*
"Okay we are here but don't take your blindfold off yet."I told y/n "okay."she responded after walking about three minutes "okay take the blindfold off."I told y/n she took it off slowly when she saw we were going hiking she smiled so big at me I smiled back at her and we started hiking the trail. After hiking we went to the beach for the picnic I had planned for us.

We got to the date and I loved it,it was amazing and I was so happy I got to do all of it with Ethan I'm pretty sure this will be a night to remember and a night that I will always love it.
