Captured | Starlight Glimmer x Trixie

Chapter One

Since living in our town, she's had numerous experiences with surprises. Of course, she won't brag, but being the town herald, she's had more surprises done on her by other ponies than any other pony in the town could've ever experienced in their lifetimes. It seems odd considering she had kept them mindlessly brainwashed for the last couple of months, but it's true. They manage every couple of weeks to break out of the shells she's caved for them and surprise her. Could be delivered by a present, or by a little friendly scare - all she knows is that it happens. And usually, it's a small one. One that wouldn't cause such a drastically large effect on her.

But this time, she couldn't help but wonder if this surprise is really something so innocent and small. It isn't really a surprise, but to her, it's something she wouldn't have expected. 

She woke up inside a small room, her blindfold still over her eyes as she was just getting out of a very groggy, very deep sleep. The sun bore down on her shoulders, reigning supreme of the air in the room with its stifling heat. "Grm." Starlight Glimmer said, moving her hoof up and sliding the blindfold down over her eyes. She blinked a few times in the summer air, her vision blurry and dark from staying under the blindfold for so long. Eventually, they adapted. 

Usually, her mornings would be very quiet. She'd get up, maybe let out a yawn, walk out, eat her breakfast (which is made by herself, since the cookers in the town only make rocks), and check out what ponies around the town are doing. Then she'd come back home and practice some spells. But today it was different. There was a crowd rumbling outside. A meeting called for not by her but by someone else.
