December 26th, 2018...
Chris
I slurped my orange Gatorade provided by the nurse staring at the TV. I started to click through channels trying to find something to interest me...here I was once again in a fucking hospital all alone "Mr.Brown someone is here to see you" the nurse told me as she set down a tray of food on the mini portable table "who is someone?" I asked slowly sitting up wincing in pain.
She had flashed a smile "they didn't say, but they really seemed to be worried about you" I waved her off "go ahead bring em in" I laid back settling for the government shutdown reports "Chris man it been a long time since I seen you" I looked over my shoulder to see Audrey standing in the flesh with a small brown teddy bear in his hand "long time? I'll say" he chuckled nervously setting the teddy bear down on the portable table placing his hand in his jacket pocket "Look I know you probably heard the news and I want to say I am very sorry" I raised a brow "you don't have to be sorry I shouldn't have fallen for Karrueche ratchet ass in the first place, she is a bird".
Audrey licked his lips looking down at the ground "yeah...despite her being vicious to you... Chris, I actually am in love with her" my jaws dropped hearing this fuckary leave his mouth "shes the mother of my son and I don't see myself nowhere else but with her" I shooked my head trying to speak but nothing came out instead I gasped for air "Chris y-you okay?" he extended his arm but I knocked it out my way "get the fuck out!" I yelled pressing the help button on the remote.
"It's like that huh? After everything we have been through we disregard our friendship over a chick?"
"IT IS THE DAMN PRINCIPALS, AUDREY THE FUCKING PRINCIPALS!" I breathed in to catch my breath placing my hands on my chest "you had me thinking I had a child from her not once have you check in with me about your secret relationship instead you left me to rot in the hospital bed about 3 years ago so fuck you and your money hungry bitch, Karrueche".
"Mr.Brown is everything okay?" the nurse asked me looking between Audrey and me "no I will like this stranger escorted out of my room immediately," I said not once looking at Audrey I had enough with his snake ass "oh and Drake a hit doesn't make you the man...I hope you know that. The streets know you still a pussy" I watched the nurse grab his arm guiding him out the room I looked down at the Teddy bear throwing it across the room.
London
Chris wasn't home his mother wasn't picking up and the company I worked for the line was busy for me to even get through. I was about to finally give up until I see a black truck speed in the driveway stopping right behind my car a dude with braids and a Gucci suit hop out the vehicle walking up with a basket full of liquor, cologne, designer fits, and male necessities "who you?" we both said in unison "oh me" I cleared my throat "I'm London, Chris's personal..." "nurse I know look tell him I dropped by when he gets back from the hospital".
I paused tilting my head to the side "hospital?" he chuckled handing me the basket "yeah he was in another accident dude got bad luck" I giggled lightly "yeah...when was this?" he sighed taking his shades off squinting his eyes at me "for you to be his nurse you really ain't on top of your game but it was last night" that car accident was all my fault he was probably knock off his guard after hearing I'm engaged with Christian "you alright?" I nodded slowly "yeah just I feel bad for not being there for him I guess you right I'm not on my A game" I pulled my keys out my scrub pockets making my way to my car "thank you for stopping by I'll make sure he gets this" I hopped into my car cranking it up speeding off to the hospital.

The room the nurse took me to was empty but gifts were present in fact they were all around the room like Christmas hadn't just ended about 13 hours ago "I see you here" I looked back seeing Chris in his hospital gown leaning against the doorframe with a grin forming on his face "I see your in a good mood today" he chuckled biting his bottom lip as he carefully came into the room, making his way towards me "look, Chris, if I had hurt your feelings or offended you last night I'm sorry" he waved me off "hey the dude knew what he wanted and he put a ring on it...unfortunately me I was to slow" I raised a brow "too slow?" I repeated "yeah 'too slow' I could have been told you I felt something for you "Chris seriously the drugs must be strong...how about you rest on that thought and get back to me tomorrow" I had started making my way to the door until he grabbed my wrist.
I looked up a Chris seeing an indescribable look in his eyes "how about you and me take a walk around this place. I heard fresh air can get rid of the stress and the strange thoughts" I slightly smiled "yeah plants can be refreshing to the human body" he playfully rolled his eyes pulling me along with him to the back of the hospital I couldn't help but to notice the beautiful scenery that sat in front of us "London how do you keep that happy demeanor no matter what?" I looked back at Chris who was rubbing his goatee "I don't know I just feel that if I walk around with a frown it's not going to change my situation it is going to make me feel lower then I was" he stepped closer sighing heavily "how can you not think about getting back at them...not try to make them feel the way they made you feel?"
His warm minty breath hit the back of my neck sending chills down my spine " hasn't your mother told you not to play with fire? it's like holding a burning stone in your hand while trying to throw it to the enemy" I could feel him smiling "I like that..." I turned towards him "Chris if you need to talk to me about anything you can I won't judge you at..." his lips pressed against mines preventing me to finish my sentence, I knew it was wrong but I didn't push him away instead I rested my hands on his shoulders.
Chris swiftly picked my up locking his hands around my waist as we made out for lord know how long...I looked at him seeing his eyes were shut, I slowly pulled away bring myself back to reality. His lips remained in the same position as I sat there watching him.
"Chris"
"Hmmm?"
"I think we should get you back inside and ready for your bedtime," I said nonchalantly but inside the little guys in my brain was running around cheering about a make-out session from another man. Pathetic right? I got down out of Chris's grip leading the way to the room acting like nothing didn't happen just then it was a small meaningless kiss. It wasn't important to acknowledge or tell so why shine a light on it?
I helped Chris get ready for bed and cleaned up his room setting all the gifts neatly in one corner "some guy in a black truck showed up and he gave you this" I reached behind me handing him the basket "he had some shades on Gucci, light skin and told me to tell you he came by" he nodded slowly looking me in my eyes as I spoke "yeah what else?" I shook my head reaching for my tote bag "nothing else, goodnight Chris" he smacked his lips "damn can I at least get a goodnight kiss?" I sighed leaning over giving him a quick peck on the cheek "go to sleep I'll see you tomorrow" he smirked as I walked out the door slowly closing it behind me.
I informed the receptionist that I was Chris personal nurse and gave her my digits to contact me when they discharge him so I could pick him up before heading home to relax and binge watch some Degrassi.
When I pulled up to the house I seen Christain car was nowhere to be found I walked inside my home after getting out locking my car up sighing heavily seeing the stuff Christian did was still all over the house "ugh this shit" I muttered under my breath kicking my tennis shoes off stripping right in the middle of my living room floor hopping on my comfy couch pulling up Netflix before the show could start I found myself knock out within minutes of the intro.
