There are many different people from all over the world who like going barefoot. But, I am not talking about the ones who are barefooting in their houses, beaches, and pools. I am talking about ones who are totally fine with barefooting to many different places like libraries and bookstores, grocery stores and supermarkets, classes, parks, movie theaters, etc.

Some people like doing it as a hobby or even as a way to improve their personal health. On the other hand, other people who go barefoot as a tradition or as a part of their native culture. So, this will be a long interviewing series where people from the USA share their barefooting thoughts, experiences, and even giving advice to people who are willing to give barefooting in public a try (since it's perfectly legal to be barefoot in the USA while not every knows that or wants to accept that).

So, welcome the newest barefoot interviewee, Priscila P. She is (currently) a 23-year-old call center operator and an entrepreneuship of graphic design, drawings and lettering from Tigre, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here is what Priscila has to say about being barefoot in public.

What inspired you to go barefoot?

I do not think that something in particular inspired me, just from a very young age, since always actually, liked to walk barefoot. I love the freedom of my feet and to feel all surfaces with them. I love the feeling of total freedom, feeling unique and different. And that's why I also love to go naked. It's something beautiful what it feels.

What are some of the reasons you like going barefoot?

As I explained you before, I love to feel every surface that I step with my soles, even the hard surfaces or where nobody dares to go barefoot. They do not do anything to me and I just let my feet adapt to them. And what is more important, when going barefoot on all sides I feel the energies of the planet, I do not know how to describe it, I feel like vibrations or something that emanates from the earth itself. And as usually when I go barefoot I also go naked, it is my whole body that perceives them. And without deceiving anyone, I love that people see me barefoot or nude and be amazed for that !!. Haha

Name some places you have gone barefoot (besides at home and the beach).

The school, the Church, the Shopping Centers, every store, Gas stations, the Zoological and Botanical Garden, the Cinemas, Bars, Restaurants, Pizzerias, Buses, Trains, Subways, Public Offices, Municipal Offices, Medical Offices ... Any place imaginable to close, hahaha

Please share one barefooting experience of yours (that's not at homes or beaches or pools). - Please be as descriptive as possible; the more content, the better.

This part is always difficult for me given that I live barefoot ... But something very funny happened when I once accompanied some friends to buy shoes. We were walking through one of the most elegant Shoppings in Buenos Aires, the "Patio Bullrich". There are many elegant shoe stores, I was barefoot as always, and many people looked at me surprised by the shopping halls, when we entered the shoe store that my friends chose to try on shoes, the employees did not realize that I went into the store barefoot, then when my friends chose some shoes and they took off their shoes to try them on, I was standing next to them, the employee who was attending them in a moment saw my bare feet and then went to find a shoe box to offer me ... She thought that I were barefoot to try on shoes too, hahaha. I told her that I was not interested in buying any ,and the girl was surprised. Then when my friends decided and went to pay for the shoes they were buying, I went to the payment boxes with them. When we began to leave the shoe store, the same employee who attended us approached me to tell me that I was forgetting my shoes in the store, pointing to my bare feet. And there I told her that I had entered barefoot, that I always go barefoot, and the poor employee then told me that people like me could make her lose her job! Hahahahaha A divine!

What is some advice you would give to someone who wants to be barefoot in public?

Take off everything and be free!!! It is the most beautiful thing you can do in life, be free, have no ties or prejudice, release your feet and show them without shame. Enjoy every moment barefoot. I have been doing it since my whole life and it is wonderful, I have learned to strip myself of everything and offer myself to the world as I am, first barefoot and then naked. And there is nothing better than the feeling of being shown to everyone, such as literally I am myself. I feel even above the normal, the established, one step beyond all and everybody.

Conclusion.

I do thank Priscila P. for taking the time and answering these questions and as well as supporting that going barefoot is actually a good and healthy thing. Tune in next time when someone else in another country talks about their likes on barefooting. Remember, speak your mind, comment down below, and happy barefooting.
