I really hope you enjoy my MLP/Minecraft Crossover fanfic! I've always wanted to write this, although I can't write whatsoever. Leave suggestions and feedback in the comments, and tell me if you want more. I've started writing the second chapter already. :)

"Hey Twilight, what's up?" Pinkie Pie bounces into Twilights house to find her levitating a thin metal, chrome colored square over a table. "The door was open so I thought I'd stop on by! Oh, are you busy? Should I come back later? Oooh, what's that?" Twilight struggles and makes the object glow brightly, her horn gathering a large, magenta aurora around it. Pinkie backs up a few steps, the glow filling the room before a white explosion of light causes them both to fly back and hit the wall as the object falls down onto the desk. Twilight falls to the ground, extremely weakened. For a moment everything is silent except for Twilights shaky breaths. She gathers up enough energy to speak to the pink earth pony who is next to her rubbing her head.

"I'm working on an extremely important project for the princess. I think it's..." She takes a breath and smiles, looking across the room at her work, "finally done!"

Pinkie looks up. "What does it do?"

"It's a game. But not just a game. I call it a 'video game'. You see, when you open the object, it has a screen that lights up. Scientists like to call it a 'computer' or 'laptop'." Twilight remembers how Celestia told her about Canterlot and Crystal Pony scientists teaming up to create a machine, powered by crystals for the screen and aluminum found in the Crystal Empire for most of the hardware, since it was very lightweight, and advanced magic from Canterlot was used for the software and could store a lot of information in such a thin, compact area. They were a brand new technology, and couldn't do much more than type using special gloves and keyboards made for hooves and solve mathematical problems. Only scientists and important pony figures, like royalty, owned one of these computers. Twilight was certain she was the only pony in Ponyville that had one, since she was considered royalty now.

Pinkie Pie perked up at the mention of computers. "I've heard about those! You mentioned something about that a few days ago, that you might be getting one!" She gasped with realization. "That's what that thing is!?"

Twilight nodded and smiled.

"Wow....that's...that's incredible!" Pinkie said with astonishment. "How!?"

"How?"

"How'd you get it!?"

"Oh, Princess Celestia gave it to me, as long as I would use it only for advancing the technology with different spells. I was trying to create a simulated environment on the screen, with artificial intelligent, coded entities, except in a very certain way that only gives them low IQ's that limits the entities to the software and a series of codes to prevent the least imbalance of the simulated world to the real world. If they were both fully functional ponies with minds of their own and reason, that would fracture the barrier between the screen and the real world, causing the collision of the two dimensions an-"
