A cold, November wind blew over a small town in Michigan. A fresh dusting of snow covered the soft ground. Children ran outside at the first sight of the snow, finding their friends and doing activities.
Two parents watched their daughter play happily in the snow, looking around at all the other children playing with their friends and family. "We have to spend some time with her." A tall man spoke softly. A woman rested her hands on his right shoulder, resting her head on her hands. "I know...." She responded hopefully.
"Saying it won't make it true," the man announced, wrapping his arm around the woman beside him.
"But realizing it is a step forward, Howard." She stroked his hair."She won't be with us forever, Amy." He said pitifully. He ran his hand along the window, clearing the fog. "We need to get back to the Reactor.." Amy touched his elbow before leaving. Howard sighed deeply. Gazing once more at his daughter, he muttered "You'll understand, Adrian.. soon enough, you'll understand...."

You still graduate at 18 though.
Unless you're the daughter of two retardedly smart parents.
Then you graduate a year early.
Yay....
And no college, not many even know what that is anymore.Bringggggggg!
Finally! I grabbed my books and slapped my test down on the desk.
I'd been done for 45 minutes.
At least.
While most of the other students where finishing writing their names on the test, I was waltzing out the door.
I was in a good mood.
We where getting out early.
Little did I know that today would be one of the worst days of my entire life...
