The next day, Elizabeth waited by the window almost all day. As the time got closer and closer to three, she grew more and more fidgety.

"Elizabeth, come and put on your dress, and for goodness sake, stop fidgeting." Margaret scolded her finally.

Elizabeth stood up and walked to her bed where the dress of tonight would be. It was a dark red dress, in the same style as the one she wore yesterday, except that the dress became flowing and loose at her waist. The sleeves of her dress, again, had lace, except it was a cream colour. And it wasn't so low cut.

Elizabeth slipped into the dress and began to do her hair, just a simple braid crown held by a silver pin with a flower shaped ruby. She realised that Margaret had deliberately picked out a dress that matched the shawl she had returned with. A present from the Prince.

Elizabeth smiled to herself. She admitted that Meliodas interested her, and Meliodas was definitely interested in her; he had said so himself. She decided that maybe, just maybe, she might have the same type of interest.

"Uh, Elizabeth, why is there a royal carriage outside?" Veronica questioned sceptically.

"Elizabeth is going to meet Prince Meliodas, at the palace." Margaret smiled cleverly.

"What?" Veronica gasped as Elizabeth rushed out the door of the Inn while pulling on her shawl.

Elizabeth walked briskly up to the carriage where a man stood beside the door.

"Lady Elizabeth?" The man asked.

"Yes." She answered.

"Come one in, my lady." The man opened the door for her and she got in. The carriage took her quickly to the palace; In Danafor, everyone moved out of the way to let the royal carriages past.

Meliodas was waiting outside the palace, in a black suit and a red tie; a lucky coincidence, Elizabeth thought. He smiled when he saw her. She got out the carriage, making sure she didn't seem too eager; that wasn't part of the game.

Meliodas walked over and greeted Elizabeth with a bow and a kiss to her hand. "Why isn't it the Lovely Lady Elizabeth? In my palace? I'm honoured." He chuckled.

"You should be," Elizabeth replied with a toss of her hair. Meliodas raised an eyebrow at her with an amused smile on his face. Elizabeth realised what she had said and apologised quickly. "Oh dear, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude."

"No, no, it's fine, I don't mind at all, shall we head to the gallery?" Meliodas gestured to the castle entrance.

"Yes," Elizabeth replied, and placed her arm on his. They started to walk to the gallery. 'I'm rather excited, I really love art."

"Oh really? I like art, it makes me wonder how they can create something so beautiful out of something so simple," Meliodas agreed happily. "Do you paint or draw, by any chance?"

They entered the gallery. It was filled to the brim with paintings. Elizabeth gasped in surprise and delight. Meliodas chuckled quietly at her awed expression as they started to walk down the hall.

"I paint, but I'm not as good as the people who painted these masterpieces! Is that really a Helix Mordred painting?" Elizabeth asked him excitedly.

"My Father says so." Meliodas shrugged with a small smile.

They walked around the art gallery, which took them the better part of three hours. They got to know eachother a little better, and the paintings too. Elizabeth was in an extremely good mood, and hummed a little tune to herself.

"What song is that?" Meliodas asked her curiously.

"Oh, it's, uh, just, uh, Tides by the Locksmiths." Elizabeth twisted a lock of hair.
