Mr. Handsome

Chapter 6

Beam's face scrunched up as he felt his skin being pierced with a surgical needle... It hurt a lot... but he was abled to endure the pain because Forth was there holding him... His head was on Forth's lap... his right hand was inside Forth's big muscular hand and he felt the pain had ease a bit when Forth's free fingers raked his hair repeatedly to soothe him.

- There you go... All done... The doctor said after he had done his task... covered the stitches properly to prevent the wound from being scratched... I have done my best and I hope that it won't leave a scar... He said as he gave Forth some medicine and an ointment for the wound.

- Thank you doctor.... Beam said in a whisper... His eyes were a bit teary due to the pain he felt.

- Forth take a good care of your boyfriend... If he still feels dizzy later, take him to the hospital immediately... The doctor gave his advice as well... patted Forth's left shoulder lightly while looking at Beam with a huge smile.

Forth nodded obediently.
- Let me walk you out doctor.

- No need Forth... I know the way... This is not my first time being in your mansion... Just take care of him... He needs you... The doctor winked at Forth before he took his leave.

- Again... thank you doctor... Forth said to the doctor.

- Don't mention it Forth... It's part of the job... It's my duty as a doctor... The doctor waved slightly as he passed the door to Forth's bedroom.

- Still in pain?... Forth asked... as he gently brushed Beam's fringe aside once they were alone again... He took a look at Beam's forehead and he was contented that the doctor had done a good job on taking care the wound.

- Just a little... Beam replied in his hoarse voice... Forth... maybe I should go and lie down in my own room... He slowly pushed himself up and sat next to Forth with his hand still in Forth's hand.

- No... you can't... I need to be with you... It's easy for me to look after you if you're closer to me... Forth stated firmly hoping that Beam wouldn't dare to defy the doctor's order... His eyes searched for Beam's, as he was trying to reassure the guy that he needed to comply with the request... and Forth couldn't stop himself from smiling when he noticed that Beam was trying to avoid from looking at him, to hide his blushing face.

- But... I'm fine... I can take care of myself... Beam protested softly... He didn't like to impose on anyone especially Forth... someone who he didn't really know that well.

- If you're doing this because you're afraid to be in the same bed with me... you don't have to worry... I'll be sleeping on the couch... It's quite comfy as well... even though it's a bit smaller than the bed... Forth brushed his hands over Beam's black hair before he let his arm settled on Beam's shoulders and gathered the smaller guy closer... He perked his head over to Beam and once again, he couldn't help but smiled because Beam's face was completely red at that moment... You're adorable... He uttered subsconciously.

- Adorable?... Me?... Hmm... You should get your eyes checked Forth... You see this face?... Beam pulled his hand from Forth... cupped his cheeks with his palms and looked at Forth with a slight pout on his lips... It's hideous now.

Forth chortled and quickly pecked Beam's forehead when he had the opportunity to do so.

- Wh..why did you do that?... Beam swiftly covered his face with his hands and looked at Forth between his fingers... We..we are not on that stage yet... He stuttered... He was nervous by that sudden peck... and it made his heart beat like crazy.

- Owh... we're not?... Then... tell me please, what stage are we in, right now, Beamie?... Forth grinned mischievously as he slowly removed Beam's hands that covered his cute face.

- Err... we... we're still at the stage where we're trying to get to know
each other... Beam relayed to Forth.

- But I held your hands already... even hugged you... That means we've already passed that stage... Forth teased the flustered guy.

Beam chewed his lips and looked away... Forth was right, but he still wanted to know more about Forth... He wanted to learn about the person he would be living with, so, he would know how to deal with the man later... and maybe, in the future as well.

- Hey... don't look away from me... Forth cupped Beam's face and pulled  towards him... There... Now, I feel much better that you are facing me.

- Why?

- Because I love looking at your face... It's captivating... Forth winked at Beam.

- You... you're a weird dude... Beam looked down at his feet to avert from locking his eyes with that man.

- Well... you make me weird... Forth confessed.

- I don't... Beam denied.

- Yes... you do Beam... ever since we met at the restaurant... Forth chuckled and lied down on the mattress... before he pulled Beam to lie down with him.

- Forth... what do you mean by that?

Forth huffed deeply and turned his face towards Beam, and ghosted on the tip of Beam's nose with his own.
- What do you think I meant?

Beam furrowed his brows and looked deeply into Forth's eyes to seek for an answer... He gasped abruptly when he finally put the dots together.
- Forth... are you saying that... you've started to like me ever since the first day we met?... He queried anxiously... but Forth kept his mouth shut and decided to let Beam figured out the answer himself.
