“So, what do you want to do?” She asks me as she sits down on the couch. I shrug, sitting down beside her. “Do you want to watch a movie?” I suggest, turning my body so that I’m facing her. She rolls her eyes, smiling. “Fine, we can watch a movie… After you tell me what happened outside.” She is suddenly very serious. I swallow hard, looking out the window. “Ah, I don’t really know. I guess I was just thinking too hard.” I look back at her, hoping she doesn’t ask what I was thinking about. She narrows her eyes, and purses her lips. “Is there anything I can do?” She has this concerned look painted on her face. I shake my head. “You help me by being here, with me.” Her eyes flutter, and at first I think that she might faint. She moves closer, pressing her lips against mine hardly. I bring my arm up and rest my hand on the small of her back. She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me in closer. I have a thought and stop her, even though I desperately want to go further. “Are your parents home?” I ask, raising my eyebrows. She shakes her head. I smile, leaning in, but then pulling back before our lips could meet. “What about Katie?” She rolls her eyes, shaking her head once again. “Okay.” I chuckle, resting my hand on her neck, bringing her in closer and kissing her cheek, then her lips. She crawls onto my lap, her body facing me. I grab her legs and pull them around my torso. I let my tongue go along her top lip. She does the same, biting my bottom lip gently. My hands move to her behind, pushing her up against me. She gasps, and I kiss her neck. Maya says something, but I don’t hear her. My eyes meet hers and she smiles. “What did you say?” I foolishly ask, pulling a strand of hair away from her face. She sighs, laughing. “Do you want to go upstairs?” she bites her lip. I stare at her for a minute. “In my room…” I blink a couple times. “Ah, are you sure?” She nods. “If you’re not, you can tell me.” “I’m sure.”
