Ever since he was little Keith wasn't allowed to love another race other then his own(galra). Him being the lil rebellious child he is he fell in love with a special altean.
"KEITH GRAB MY HAND"lance screamed down to the now panicked keith."I-I CAN'T YOUR ARM IS TOO FAR"Keith responded."PLEASE JUST TR-" lance was cut off by a someone shoving lance making him drop keith and fall over the side of the cliff as well.(narrator P. O. V. btw)
Keith awoke heavily breathing and drenched in sweat.The last thing he remembered was falling into the pit of endless void he was dropped into."Ughhh now I have to take a shower..great......wait who was that".
As keith was turning on the water there was a knock on the door followed by his father telling him he needed to unload the dish washer when he got out."ya..ya got it" he shouted over the sound of the hot water hitting the cold ground.
Keith continued to clean himself. After he was done he turned the warm water off making him get goosebumps. He quickly grabed a towel and wraped it around himself warming him up. Once he was warm enough he walked out into his room to get his outfit for the day.
Keith reached his dresser and pulled out a longish grey sweater and some ripped jeans.

Meanwhile his dad was getting pissed cuz he wasn't unloading the dish washer. Keith was cheaking himslef out in the mirror when his dad came in."What did i tell you to do!!!"his dad raised his voice."idk"keith responded looking confused". His dad just sighed and said"can you just please go do the dish washer.... my old friend pete McClain and his wife and their eldest son are coming over dinner".He left without letting keith answer. Keith was more than confused at what just happened, but he just shrugged it off and went down stairs to go unload the dish washer. The dish washer was unloaded and all Keith had to do now was be lazy and sit around the house all day.
He was watching TV when he noticed it was a lil too quiet.... Keith called his dad because even if he was in the house he was too lazy to go find him. So he called, immediately his dad picked up and said quickly he was at the store to get ready for dinner also, that the McClain's are coming over in about half an hour. Before Keith could say anything his dad hung up on him. "Okay so those people are coming over in 30 mins so what am I gonna do when then get here" He thought in confusion.
Keith went back to watching a documentary about altans. It was about 30 mins later and the McClains could be there any tick now. In the time span of 30 mins Keith stopped watching TV and decided to clean the place up. In the middle of dusting the top of the fire place he heard a knock on the door. When he open the door an kid looking a little bit older than him was sanding there with two older people standing behind him. "Ohh you must be the McClains, please come in".
The boy in front was giveing him the weirdest stare. "So where's your dad" Mr. McClain asked "ohh he'll be here in a minute". Right as Keith said that his dad barged in the door. " Sorry I was late" His dad apologized. Keith's dad started talking to Mr. And Mrs. McClain leaving keith and the other kid alone.
(Keith P. O. V.) The other kid looked at me and, all the sudden he looked so familiar... Like I had seen him somewhere. "Why don't you boys go play video games or something" My dad gestured upstairs. "o-ok"I respond nervously. I looked at the familiar looking boy and smiled and said" Hi". "Hi, my name's lance" He said with one of his hands behind his neck. "Hi..... M-my names keith"i responded with hesitation. " Do u have any food" He said sounding bored. "Ohh,ya" I said leading him the kitchen which had the sweet smell of cherry.
I opened the fridge and grabbed grapes along with some cheese. As I set it on the table lance asked if he could have any. "Well..ya, I got it out for you so ya might as well eat it" I chuckled. He laughed and started taking biting into the cheese and grapes. For some odd reason Keith found lance very attractive. "Sooooo....are you in a relationship or a thing or are you a single Pringle" I asked all nervous and shit. "Proud to say that I'm a single Pringle" he said with confidence. "You seem proud". "I am". I wondered why lance was so proud of all things to be single.
(Lance P.O.V.) I'm not proud. I just wanna impress him, being lonely is one of the worst things for me actually. I've always been alone in everything I do. I only have three friends. Never had more than three, tho I Keith may or may not become my friend. I couldn't care less if he became my friend or not, I don't really need any more than I already have.
