When we got there it was 7:00, there was only a few other groups around in the area. we set up chairs where the water would just touch our feet. after we set up we went on the board walk to shop. Alecs and I got some matching anklets with the sign of one of our favorite bands, Sleeping With Sirens. It was a blue string connecting with a fake silver anchor with a rope around it.
After just looking we got some water ice. After eating it like a monster, Alecs said she had to go to the bathroom. Me and Kai were awkwardly sitting there. he moved over a little bit, and my heart starts racing, I tell myself to keep calm.
"Hey Cinder?" he says, softly.
"Yeah?" I say.
"Um can I um.. You know, umm kiss you?" It feels like my heart is going to jump out of my chest. Holly shit! Did Kai really just ask me that?!? I lean in and he does the same. it felt like forever until our lips finally touch. Oh god.. I've never kissed a guy before. A warm sensation crawls up my whole body.
He softly grabs a hold of my head, the position in in is really awkward so fuck it, I do the same.

I really had to pee, and having water ice didn't. Help. I walk out and pause. Holly shit. Lauren and Kai are kissing!?!? I decide to step back incase they see me. I'm just gonna wait a minute or two.

I couldn't help asking her. I just really need to taste her lips. this was my first kiss. I can't help to wander if it's the same for her.
She let's go of my face and backs her head up. wow, she's a good kisser.
"Hey um, let's not tell Alecs about any of this yet okay?" She says, I really agree, her coming out of the bathroom and telling her we just kissed is kind if weird.
"Yeah, but um.. this mean we're dating right, I mean do you want to date?" nice job.
"Yeah sounds cool" I'm surprised no yes! or anything? I look at her with that face of are you kidding me?! and she starts laughing.
"I'm just kidding! I would love too" she says, and smiles. right now I feel like I'm the luckiest man on Earth.
