Sometimes I get these confusing thoughts. I just love the feeling of her hands running through my hair, or the way she- "Skye! Earth to Skye!" You need to stop that dude." Alex smirks. I just get so zoned out around this girl, she's just that mesmerizing. "Yeah right, back to work." I softly reply. She'd probably noticed me staring at her reflection in the computer screen.
Alex started to hum a beat, and rapidly tapping her pencil. "C'mon! Be happy!" She wraps her arms around me. We both start laughing, but I start to blush. Sending shivers down my spine, as she grabs a hold of my hand. My cheeks start to burn, and my heart is beating a hundred miles a minute. "We need to talk..." she trails off. My eyes follow Alex as she stands and walks over to sit by the wall behind us.
She patted the spot beside her to motion me over to her. The pale look on her face told me she was getting nervous. "Ya know," she smiles, and puts an arm around me, " you're an amazing friend." My heart drops. "You are too." I force a smile.

It's been an hour since Alex left, it's starting to make me miss her. Her fingers crossing over mine, the way her smooth ginger hair flows when she dances. She's always so energetic, with this beautiful smile, it's amazing how much happiness and laughter can be in one human being.
